You can now grab 100% vegan small grocery items (see examples on their webshop www.reneevoltaire.se,) prepared take-away meals, snacks, deserts, juice cleanses, food kits, teas, health supplements and a small amount of fresh fruit and veggies. I think they might even have a barista, but you'll have to check on that! The prepared foods are a bit pricey at around 180 SEK for a lunch or dinner box (if I remember correctly... you might want to also double check on that for the exact number.) I have a feeling that the high pricing is probably due to the high rent area of Östermalm that this place resides in. (I would love to see them open one with a little better pricing in the hipster area of Hornstull--nearby me! I bet it would go over really well!) =) You can join their website's email list and/or follow them on Instagram to see what new food items they have prepared for the day. They usually post pictures and descriptions up pretty often. I have to say that everything i've tried has been pretty damn good for being so healthy! I really like being a healthy eater... but, it still has to taste like proper food. I am just not the kind of person to do yoga all day and follow it up with eating raw veggies and grass. Lol. I'm a real person who likes real food!!! Luckily, I have found that some stuff here that didn't make me want to run away. But, beware of that dang green juice with lemon in it....whoo...it's an acquired taste. =P I'll leave that for the grass-fed yogis. LOL! They have a few other interesting aspects to this business that I really enjoy. They offer catering, which is always good. The webshop ReneeVoltaire.com also has everything they sell with the exception of their fresh food--with free shipping over 500 SEK. You can also go to the Pepstop.se website and shop for a 1, 3 or 5 day "cleanse kasse" meal box (that includes yoga classes for the amount of days you purchase it for.) They also offer their full juice cleanse programs on the site for you real hardcore detoxers. I also saw a "Frukostkassen" (healthy breakfast kit) and "Träningspåsen" (training kit for workout nutrition) that I would be interested in trying out sometime too! The most intriguing thing for me though would probably be the cooking classes! They offer one called "Inspirationsmiddag" (dinner inspiration) for 795 SEK and a "Clean Eating" class where they provide you with brunch afterwards (also 795 SEK.) They even have a juice cleanse lecture for only 295 SEK for those who want to DIY! I don't know if they offer any of this in English, but I'm going to check into that soon! TIP -- They offer "PepYoga" every Thursday morning between the hours of 7am-8am at Altromondo Yoga [Grev Turegatan 18]. It's free and they offer a cold-pressed juice at Pepstop afterwards. And: it's way better than the (quite uncosy, if you ask me) cafe that Moderna Museet has itself. They seem to serve amazing coffees and have fancy juices and lemonades, but as we really just needed a quick bite, we went for water (that you can just take for free). There were many good looking salads and sandwiches to choose from, but as I'm not always spending my weekends in Stockholm (or Sweden in general), I obviously had to go for some sort of bulle. Cinnamon, cardamom - they had it all, and they looked awesome. But they also had saffransbullar, which is something I hadn't tasted before, so we obviously (both) went for that one. It was very sweet, but extremely good and filling, too. Just because of the distance from the rest of the city, I wouldn't just walk to Skeppsholmen just to go to Café Blom, but if I'll ever visit one of the museums again, I'd definitely go here. They offer superior quality hot and pre-made dishes at decent prices, ordered counter style. Their soup of the day during my visit was tomato, served with a generous dollop of tangy yogurt and basil oil. You could tell that this stuff was made fresh, not poured from a can. They have a generous free bread basket that you can help yourself to, providing delicious, hearty, chewy bread to dunk in your soup, or dip in a little dish of olive oil (also gratis). They offer a tempting array of baked goods, but they also sell delicious Danish chocolate bars from Simply Chocolate at the register (I am partial to the "Grainy Sue", which is basically a granola bar covered in chocolate). Seating is plentiful, as they have several rooms set up with tables in different configurations, including an outdoor patio. This is a very kid-friendly environment, and there were lots of strollers lined up at midday. They also offer free Wifi if you're needing to get some internet time in.

My sister and I ordered the Boulette de Boeuf, the Monday special, per the waiter's recommendation. We also ordered the hamburger and fries to share. The Boulette de Boeuf was a giant meatball with mashed potatoes and lingonberry. For dessert we went inside and had hot chocolate, tea, and banoffe cake. We wanted to try the banoffe cake because it was mentioned in the movie Love Actually and we had never had it before. It is a combination of banana and toffee with a layer of cream on top and a pie crust. Neither of us liked it but we were glad we tried it. The hot chocolate tastes just like the one at Cafe Saturnus if I remember correctly. There is free wifi and they accept Diner's Club international! If you're traveling internationally, use your Discover/Diner's Club international card when possible because there are no foreign transactions fees.
