We just moved out of our apartment last week to move into the new house we just bought back in February. Out of respect we stayed at our apartment to finish out our lease, to do right. Due to my health, our daughter's health, my Husband working all the time and us doing everything on our own the move pretty much being all in my Husband's lap, we weren't able to be moved out right on the first. So, because of us not being out exactly right on the first they're refusing to give back our deposit. No damages or anything. Everything got fixed for our apartment thanks to my Husband. Either stuff wouldn't get fixed or done the right way so my Husband ended up doing everything. These people are nothing but slum lords and will keep your deposit!!!! DON'T RENT FROM THEM!!! The apartments are also going up to 850 on Joanna Street in Brookville Ohio. Definitely NOT worth it!!!!!

I lived in my apartment for six years before these brothers bought it. They immediately nearly…read moredoubled the rent but didn't fix anything. The buildings were all in disrepair and even when we submitted maintenance request, they never fixed anything. I saw them put a three day notice up on my neighbors door when he was in Columbia and then they sent their maintenance man to come and take all of his stuff illegally and then they lied and said he had bedbugs, but didn't treat the apartment and went ahead and rented it out. my windows were single paned. Ice and mold grew on the inside. They refused to do anything to help weatherproof or improve anything, including removing mold. One neighbor who had a lease found that they increased the amount whenever they felt like it, and they also insulted her and asked whether she was handicapped which was completely inappropriate. They threatened with less than 30 days notice to raise the rent to 850 at the beginning of January. They did not ever take care of maintenance issues. For every shower, we had to stand in 2 to 4 inches of water, our kitchen light always burned out because there's water in the ceiling which is causing damage and electrical problems which is probably a fire hazard. There are not working smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors. Avoid at all costs. Do not rent from them. They have multiple lawsuits being filed against them right now. They charge $75 to each apartment for water and trash, but the trash only gets picked up every two weeks. The dumpster is constantly overflowing. It's disgusting there. It's turned into a slum.
