First, the design questionnaire was excellent - especially for someone like me who doesn't know much about interior design. It was able to identify my design preferences by showing different living rooms and asking which ones were to my liking. In addition, its questions served as a great preparation for the home visit, so Stephanie came well prepared for our meeting. Stephanie was very creative, professional, and helpful throughout the process. When she visited my place, we decided on a design together, in an efficient process, where she was able to translate my needs and preferences to interior design decisions and furniture choices. After two weeks, she assembled a furniture shopping list, within the budget I requested. I purchased all items she suggested. The furniture items were sourced from many furniture stores and I felt she did an excellent job finding items that were beautiful, fit the overall design, and reasonably priced. I get nothing but compliments about my place (even from my Architect friend who is quite stingy with design related complements...). Well done Stephanie! As to the cost-effectiveness of the service - had I done this process myself (even with friends help), I would have surely spent more time, more money, getting worse results. They also have a huge storage area in the basement so you can reserve your fixtures months in advance before pickup. We made a 1/2 down payment so the price would remain the same or better when we went to pick it up. They will only charge you the current price if you don't make a down payment. So if it goes up, you're at a loss. They have a display area for the bulbs too, so you can see the level of brightness and whiteness/yellowness you're looking for. Their bulbs are all LED's now. They have a wide variety of fixtures and a wide variety of price ranges so it's easy for someone on a budget to find something suitable too. We got lucky and picked out four fixtures (two ceiling fans and two chandeliers) and bulbs prior to prices increasing the following month. When we went back to pick up the fixtures a few months later we saved several hundred dollars by having put 1/2 down. We could not be happier with how everything turned out! Happy shops!

They came and measured the windows. The installation was terrific. No issues, just beautiful window cornices. To my pleasant surprise, the fabric was matched on each cornice. A detail that enhanced the overall look, and one that I did not think of. I will definitely use Larry's Design for window coverings for my French doors, etc.
