I desperately tried to get it unlocked; looked for another key, anything I could think of short of breaking a window, while waiting. My dog was inside the van, as we were getting ready to leave for the day. I had loaded him up and shut the door so I could get his water and lock up the house. Fortunately, we are parked in a relatively shaded spot and it is not too hot on the coast today. The driver (Darby, I think he said) called me back within a few minutes of being dispatched to let me know he was on his way. Less than 10 minutes later, he had pulled up and was working to get the pup out. Took him just a few short minutes to get the door unlocked.
