I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. This hotel is located about a 20 minute drive from Washington, D.C. the check-in process was easy. There were quite a few carts to assist with trasporting luggage to our room. The lobby is very pretty with a cool art installation as soon as you walk in. There are lots of different seating areas in the lobby along with a bar/restaurant and a coffee shop. The room I stayed in was a 2 queen bedroom. I thought it was spacious allowing plenty of room for both of our suitcases to open up. It was clean, and the bathroom was stocked with essentials. I never heard any noise from neighbors, so that was a plus. If you need to refill a water bottle, go up to the floor where the gym is located and there are water bottle refill stations inside of there.

Well. It's kinda just a hotel. The rooms are kinda dark and comfy but not cozy. What gives this hotel a leg up is the super friendly staff! From the bar to the front desk, they are very nice. There's not too much around the hotel but they do have a mini shop inside in case you forgot some toothpaste or other essential.

Great hotel just outside of DCA airport. The staff is friendly and ready to welcome you. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I was also please to find how quiet the property is and everything is well maintained.

I have not stayed at a Renaissance hotel in long while so booked a one night stay here last minute. The free shuttle to/from the airport and Crystal City Metro was convenient and left very half hour. That helped offset the distance of this hotel from public transportation . I wish I did better research to confirm the club hours as it closed at noon on Friday and reopened on Sunday. I was able to enter at 11:55am for five minutes and grabbed fresh fruit, yogurt and a soda. It had a nice view of DCA and looked relaxing. Gym was amazing with the most equipment I've seen in a US hotel that I can recall. Besides rows of cardio equipment they had lots of free and machine weights and a dedicated area for online classes. Towels and a filtered water dispenser were available. In lieu of the club access, I was comped breakfast in the hotel restaurant. It was a basic buffet with a omelette station but at least everything was cooked well, fruits were ripe, and it filled me up. Staff were friendly overall. The room was standard and overall in good condition and comfortable. Lots of plugs for charging. It had a large shower and lots of bathroom counter space. The amenities were by Aveda and the rosemary mint had a refreshing smell. As I faced away from DCA the room was very quiet. The only criticism of the room was that the safe would not fully open. Not sure if that was a design issue or something else. Also most hotel elevators now use an extra security measure with key pads to allow access the floors via the room key but not here. Not a bad choice for an overnight or two in DC.

Clean and modern hotel right in the heart of Arlington, along Crystal City area. I took the shuttle from the airport over and it was really quick. They have valet only, and it is not cheap. Overall happy with the level of service at this Marriott property. The onsite restaurant is very good too.

Some service apartment the customer have no idea about.

Do not stay here, my reservation indicated late arrival and yet they oversold and just decided to shuffle me to a service apartment that i have not idea how safe it is.

***Overall review: *** Excellent experience, I would recommend this location to anyone and I would definitely return! ***Detailed review:*** Getting to the hotel was a challenge, as it is located in Crystal City which is a mix of feeder roads and one way streets. Parking around the outside of the hotel is paid parking which only allows 12 hour parking. The valet is not 12 hours so it is better to self-park, however self-parking is on the lower levels and valet is at the upper levels. I found the property to be modern, classy, and the staff were very personable and professional. Furniture in the lobby area should be removed, swapped with more appropriate furniture for the setting, or at least cleaned. The rest of the hotel appears clean but could use new furniture as some is starting to show wear and tear. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the airport and Potomac River. The only bad experience I had was the bar staff seemed slightly overwhelmed and took a long time to be served. They could benefit from adding additional staff on busy nights. Otherwise, the bar staff were friendly and the food was outstanding.

Beautiful view from the floor to ceiling window

Overall good experience at this hotel. Rooms can be sort of noisy when doors slam. Great lounge but unfortunately close on the weekend.

Parking is extra, which we paid in advance but then it was on our bill at the end of the stay, so make sure to check if you pay in advance. The pool is small, and when I went it was crowded and parents let their kids just scream their hearts out, so we ended up only staying a few minutes. That's not so much the hotel's fault, but the acoustics really echo and a lot of parents think pools are babysitters and don't even watch their kids. The gym is separated into cardio and weightlifting equipment which is a little inconvenient, especially as only one room had a water cooler, but it has standard equipment. The lobby is spacious if you want to hang out a bit. The price wasn't too bad for a big, comfortable room and only a few train station stops into town. It's a decent option if you want to visit. There are also shops and restaurants in walking distance.

It explains why…read morethe Hilton Garden Inn Arlington is an excellent choice to stay at--beyond just being a very nice hotel. I was in the area to attend a funeral at Arlington National Cemetery and needed accommodations nearby, so I booked at the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington. I've been a Hilton Honors member since 2005 and have always enjoyed consistently smooth experiences at Hilton properties. Since the service was scheduled for early afternoon, we requested an early check-in to give us time to prepare. The staff went above and beyond: they coordinated with the head of housekeeping to have a room ready for us. When we arrived at noon, everything was spotless and waiting. The real reason for this detailed review, though, happened at checkout. I accidentally left my toilet kit in the room. Once I returned home, I called the hotel, and the team made the process incredibly easy and stress-free. I first spoke with Mr. Adam Shewan-Gezaw, the Housekeeping Manager, who quickly located the item and explained the return options. Then Mr. Garry Reynolds, Front Desk Supervisor, followed up with an email that included additional contact details for Mr. Shewan-Gezaw, Ms. Joanne Solis (Housekeeping Supervisor), and Mr. Dimitri Dittimus (Guest Services Agent). Mr. Dittimus even reached out to me personally to provide updates on the progress. Everyone treated the matter with genuine care and urgency, even though the kit contained nothing of significant monetary value--just a few items that hold personal, sentimental meaning to me. Their attentiveness and teamwork were truly impressive. I can't thank the entire Hilton team enough for going the extra mile. In the end, sometimes any hotel will suffice. But when you encounter conscientious, customer-focused people like this, you know you'll be in excellent hands. Highly recommend.

We had already paid for parking, but the gate wouldn't open when we arrived, so we had to stop by the front desk to have our key reset. Thankfully, the staff resolved it quickly. The hotel itself was clean, and the common areas were well-maintained and inviting. We especially enjoyed the free breakfast and the games available downstairs, which added a nice touch for families and guests looking to relax. The rooms were spacious and clean as well. The only downside was that there were a few nails sticking up in our room that we accidentally stepped on multiple times during our stay. We mentioned it to the staff when checking out, and they were apologetic and said they would address the issue. The parking garage was also pretty tight, which made maneuvering larger vehicles a bit challenging. The Hyatt Place in Arlington was a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed wasn't the best hotel bed, but it wasn't horrible. It just felt more like a futon than a bed. What made the stay was the staff. From the hotel clerks, to the kitchen ladies, to housekeeping and maintenance; everyone I met was kind, accommodating and so friendly. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The individual quiches were sublime! Honestly, one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. I wish I still had my photos, but I deleted them after I posted my initial review. Stay at the Hyatt Place with confidence.

This particular one is in a decent location, close to a metro stop and within walking distance of some restaurants not too far away. The rooms are exactly what you'd expect from a Hyatt Place, with the bed(s), couch, mini-fridge, bathroom, etc... Yet my experience here felt a bit subpar relative to my other stays at Hyatt Place hotels. This is mainly because of two minor things. First, I felt my interactions with staff were a bit frustrating. They were perfectly nice and polite, but I feel a bit slow. Upon check in, they asked for a credit card to take a security deposit and I asked them to charge it to the card on file. They either didn't understand or refused. I gave them the same card I had on file. It was the same thing. But that always annoys me and takes up more time than necessary. At breakfast the next day, they rope off the lobby creating a single entry point where they check your name for breakfast. Typically the free breakfast at Hyatt Place hotels is open and you just walk in. While I recognize this method is susceptible to random people walking in to take advantage of the breakfast, having a guest list to check off for such a basic (arguably not even good) breakfast seems a bit uninviting and indeed, time consuming. This is a perfectly fine hotel to stay at when in the area. But compared to the standard Hyatt Place experience, it falls short. Three stars.

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!

It has 2 window treatments: 1 for limiting light and one for blocking the light totally. Each of these work with a chain arrangement. It's just steps away from the main Shirlington shops, including restaurants like Busboys and Poets, cafes, and even grocery stores. The whole area around the hotel seems very walkable. It feels like a nice little neighborhood rather than just another hotel strip. The one drawback is parking. You do have to pay, and the garage is about a block away rather than right under the hotel.
