Super cute outdoor shopping center that has a European feel to it. I stopped by to visit the Explore Ridgeland center and was quite surprised by the variety of stores here. On a Wednesday morning, it was not too packed. The Explore Ridgeland had a lot of information about the area, things to do. Very friendly people working who were more than happy to sit and chat. I would recommend this to anyone. There is a bit of everything here. Groceries, clothing, accessories, books. Getting a lot done in one area is convenient. read more

My favorite place to shop when I'm home. Every store I like is in the Renaissance, the restaurants that I so enjoy, from the dressy up night out to the causal are all here, the salons that I visit for a quick haircut or dye job are nearby, the spas for massages to catch up with friends, the nail salons and grocery stores all right here. If you want to catch a movie, it's here too! I love this place; I love coming home! read more

This area is super cute, I love the European architecture and the gorgeous Italian style fountain at the main entrance. There are also great hotels & restaurants in the area. There are also plenty of great stores to accompany the beautiful scenery! read more

Outdoor shopping center on roundabouts with great better stores such as White House Black Market, soft Surroundings, Williams Sonoma, Sonoma, Kamoda Joe, Brooms Brothers, Apple and so much more. These are not outlet stores so you are getting flagship store quality go Great for walking off holiday food and enjoying great Mississippi weather, and there are plenty of places to sit outdoors as you walk along (perfect for me). read more

Pretentious much? Yes! I will admit Renaissance is a beautiful outdoor shopping "mall," but I do not enjoy shopping here. Many of the store employees have their noses stuck up in the air and most of the people who shop here have their noses stuck up in the air. I can't for the life of me figure out why. There's not a Louis, Chanel, or Tiffany in sight. They don't even so much as have a Coach store, for goodness sakes. Where do these people think they are?...... Rodeo Drive? ...... The Millenia Mall in Orlando? ..... I just don't get it. Now, I have no personal experience with Rodeo Drive, but I have been in the Millenia Mall many, many times and even there the people aren't half as snobbish as the people at Renaissance. Even the description they have on their website is pretentious. "A Lifestyle Center masterpiece. Elegant old-world design sets architectural artistry against luxuriant landscaping with beautiful water features, all in an inviting village center that plays host to an ongoing array of special events. Vibrant. Captivating. An unrivaled venue for shopping, dining and entertainment." I'll give them the beautiful architecture, but, "an unrivaled venue for shopping, dining, and entertainment"? .... hahahahaha... ummm no! Here's the best thing about this place... they have an Apple Store! It's the only darn Apple Store in the entire state! For that and that alone, they get a HUGE round of applause from me! Nice open-air shopping and dining center with a great selection of high end brands. Although I do believe they're missing a few musts (like MAC Cosmetics and maybe a Cheesecake Factory --I don't know, I'm just used to seeing it next to PF Chang's), I can say that they're doing ok! Shopping aside, the architecture and landscaping at the Renaissance does warrant notice as it always stands out to me as spectacular! I'm a frequent shopper, and I never notice this at other shopping complexes, which says a lot. Overall, good stores and good eats, a winning combo! read more

The stores are high quality as if you are in the area the people like to consider themselves way better the people in South Jackson. I walked around a few times when I lived here, but nothing was really cool about it. read more

Nice outdoor shopping area in Ridgeland closely suited to I-55. There are a few dinning options as well. Right in front of Charming Charlie there is a little splash pad for the kids on sunny days which is nice for parents. Stores are average, but nice for Mississippi. If you like outdoors shopping then this is a great place. Bookstores, furniture stores, clothing stores, places to eat...they have a lot. It's pretty...I've even seen people take photos out here. It's like a park and shopping in one place. Some stores come and leave within a year but they are usually followed up by another opening. There are a few places that don't have a store yet which means there are leasing opportunities available. Things run on the mid to high in prices there but the stores that are there who would expect anything else. They also have festivals and music they pop up in the area pretty regularly. All in all good place if you want to splurge a little. Parking is horrible especially if you want to park on the stripe when it is rainy. You will circle many times before you get a place. If you don't mind parking on the outskirts then you will find a place pretty easily. read more

They got a very nice Barnes and Noble and they also have a fancy movie theatre with a bar and grill and reclining lounge chairs in the theatres. Love visiting their restaurants such as Zea and shopping there.. Amazing nail salon. They offer many different shopping places as well as places to eat. They offer fancy dining as well as somewhere to stop for quick breakfast or lunch. Their drive-thru Starbucks isn't that great but the one in Barnes and Noble is good. read more

One of the best places for outdoor shopping in the area. You can spend an entire day in the shopping arena. I think a previous Yelper pointed out- it offers Barnes & Nobles for a bit of bookstore fun, small boutiques, popular chain fashion stores including Anthropology and White House/Black Market, Fresh Market for an alternative to locally fresh produce, and of course Starbucks to top things off. Its just a nice area to walk around in any season. Its access is right off the highway and is not too far from other shopping stores and eateries. My favorite is the seasonal decorations and the various festivals and events they offer throughout the year. read more
