One downside was the strict key card checks every time we entered, which became annoying when coming and going often. The low score is mainly due to the customer service after our stay. We left a stuffed animal behind the pullout bed and reported the exact location and room immediately after leaving. After weeks of calls and follow-ups, we received no real help or updates. I've had more valuable items returned by other hotels, so the lack of effort to retrieve a stuffed animal was frustrating. This is not a criticism of the cleaning staff, but of the poor communication and lack of initiative from management.

Cost was $20 for free samples from 6-9. The vodka booth alone made this worth attending, because their drinks were quite strong, as well as Goslings Dark and Stormy, which provided ready-made cans of dark and stormies throughout the night. Several vendors' businesses support a great cause, too. One tiny thing: I was disappointed there wasn't more food available (the M&MS candy bar sponsor never showed up, I guess...even though that isn't exactly real food either), but the plethora of sponsors kept me entertained between networking with people.

My room was lovely and comfortable -- with wonderful snacks and water, which were nice touches. The Terrace (rooftop) restaurant and bar was nice. And the club is in a great location. During my stay, I toured the large rooms on the second level. One of the rooms was so grand and gorgeous that it literally took my breath away! Stunning!!! (see pics) I was advised in advance that there would be no meal service over the weekend, save for Saturday night. That was fine for me, but I note it because others may prefer to stay at a club where they can eat all of their meals.
