I was in this hotel for 3 nights on a group tour. They were ready with our rooms when we arrived at 3:00pm. It is clean and brightly lit. They have the fluffy robes which is always a plus! Everyone is very gracious and most of them spoke English. What can I say about the breakfast it was fabulous! You can order omelettes, plus they have a wonderful selection of fruit and cheese. Love the crusty bread and the chocolate croissants! Would definitely stay here again while visiting Paris!

Communication was great even before check-in. We were recognized for our anniversary with a small upgrade and bottle of champagne. We enjoyed the modern rooms, attentive service and complimentary breakfast. Many hotels in Paris seemed to have dark, vintage styling so the updated renaissance struck my eye. The bed was a bit firm for our liking. Room was stocked with multiple glasses, mugs, and a nespresso bar - but you should really get downstairs for a dreamy cappuccino in the restaurant! Breakfast was full of fresh baked breads, fruits, and an egg/omelette bar. We saved so much with free breakfast and drinks each morning. Also worth noting, the spa is beautiful and a moment to yourself in there feels magical. The area is bustling with shops and restaurants so when you walk out you feel immediately immersed in Parisian city life. We caught the public transit often from easily accessible stations in every direction of the hotel. Overall, a great home base for our adventure in Paris!

It's been a while since I've had such a pleasant hotel experience. From the first step into the Renaissance Paris République, the entire stay was lovely. The entire staff, including reception, breakfast host and servers, were very kind and courteous. I truly felt that they tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. My hotel rate included breakfast, which is served a la carte but you can order as much as you'd like. Over 8 days, I tried many dishes -- the favorites being the crepe pancakes, yogurt with homemade granola, and the amazing bread basket. The dining room is beautiful and the perfect setting to enjoy a meal. Now I should mention that breakfast is served in a style to "dine & enjoy"; it's not the speediest process so they do have a grab-n-go station if you're short on time, which includes the bread basket, fruit, and beverages. The lobby and bar area also has a good amount of seating with a selection of games (displayed in an elegant way, not in a messy children's manner). Now let's talk about the room. As a Marriott Bonvoy platinum member, I was upgraded from a Paris room to a larger Bobo room. The furnishings felt very luxurious. The shower was equipped with a rain shower head and the wash area has glass windows; if you're traveling with others or generally not comfortable with the concept, there are pull down curtains available. I did not have a balcony, but a charming enclave by the window with leather padding. They also provide turn down service, which essentially is providing a little sweet surprise on your pillow each evening. The hotel also has a sizable gym, plus hot tub and sauna! Everything was modern and clean. They recommend making an appointment for the sauna but I had no problem accessing it on a Sunday without one, and luckily had it all to myself! Lastly, they honored the Platinum benefit of a late check out at 4pm - which was the perfect time for me to head to the airport. Now if you can't tell, I loved my stay at the Renaissance Paris République and can't wait for my next visit!

I had a great experience here. First of a the location is perfect. Very central and directly across from a metro station. Second, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. A good size for a big city. Third, breakfast was very good and included in my rate and finally the staff were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel in Paris.

Right on the Boulevard Poissonnière, just a 30-second walk from the Grands Boulevards metro station, sits this quaint, unassuming hotel. Nestled between pubs and retail shops, the Hotel des Grands Boulevards is easy to miss if you aren't keeping an eye out! The lobby is small and to-the-point. A narrow counter, two employees, and a wall of old-fashioned tasseled hotel keys waiting to be used. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted by warm smiles and a "bonjour" every time we walked by. The room itself was beautiful. The hotel takes its design inspiration from the French Revolution and provincial life. Walls painted in deep, dramatic greens, a bed with a soft canopy, and accent furniture in rustic golds. All of it was rounded out with light modern touches. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon in Paris!

Everyone working is very hospitable. The location can't be beat, making this a good hotel to start your trip. The rooms are spotless. I stayed in a small single room and it was perfect. The breakfast spread was also impressive, with plenty of options to kickstart my busy day. Unfortunately, I am taking a star off my review because I called twice confirming that I could have a fridge in my room. The hotel explained that they could place one in the room. When I got to my room, they said they do not put fridges in the room. I had to use their own fridge for my medication. I am also taking another star off because I emailed the hotel to confirm this and they never responded. I have never heard of a hotel just not responding to a guest. For these two reasons, I am giving the hotel three stars. Now, the hotel itself is great. The rooms are perfect. Most of all, the AC (air-conditioning) is cold and made my trip perfect. I just wish they would honor having fridges placed in the room and answer customer emails rather than ghosting me. I would stay here again though because the location and staff are very inviting.

There was a desk with a chair on one side. The windows were huge and opened like doors to a rooftop which I had to explore. The bathroom was modern. Very deep tub with handheld sprayer as well as rain shower head. They do not provide washcloths nor hair conditioner... interesting. We noted a plaque that stated that Rossini wrote the William Tell Overture while he lived here, which is very cool! Our first night in Paris we wanted to go out to a fancy French meal. The front desk concierge recommended Au Petite Riche which was within easy walking distance. Wow, great recommendation! The breakfast that was included was just ok. They have super fancy coffee machines that make lots of different hot drinks. The scrambled eggs were just ok and the bacon looked barely cooked. They also had fruit, yogurt, juices and cereals. The black grapes had seeds and crunching into them was not pleasant. Spitting seeds into a napkin is not the classiest thing either! I only ate a couple before I just gave up. The gates in front of the hotel were locked upon our return both nights out in Paris, but you just ring the buzzer and they let you in. Made us feel safe. Would stay here again.

Location is off the Main Street, but still very close to the busy areas and near subway stops. If you don't speak French, the concierge can help you make reservations for restaurants or museums or other activities. Checkout was easy, and calling a cab via the concierge was a piece of cake. The bathroom had good lighting and the pocket door was a solid door which I appreciate for a change after staying in 6 hotels in 1 month and 4 out 6 had frosted glass bathroom doors. Personally, I think glass doors look pretty cool but not very practical for bathroom privacy. This hotel offers free soft drinks and bottled water replenished daily in your room's mini fridge. All the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. I don't speak French except for a few phases and the staff made me feel at ease and comfortable with speaking to me in English. The hotel offers breakfast for a fee. I included it in our room reservation and I believe it was worth it. They have a nice variety of breakfast options to satisfy including croissants, pastries, bread, eggs, veggies, waffles, pancakes, cheeses, fruits, meats (extra kiddos for having poultry sausages aside from bacon for guest who don't eat pork). Breakfast is served Monday through Friday from 7am to 10:30am and until 11am on Saturday and Sunday. Another great thing about this hotel is that it offers complimentary snacks in the lounge from 2pm to 2am. Mostly cakes, cookies, juices, tea, and coffee. Bathroom was immaculate with a nice shower. Front desk staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. Hard to beat the location, in the heart of Montmartre. Be aware that the walk from Blanche is a little uphill, and the Abbesses station has a seemingly endless staircase (so use the lift there). The only negative I encountered was that the ground floor (where the front desk and breakfast cafe is) often had a bathroom-y smell. This did not extend to the upper floors where the guest rooms are. The hotel itself is small, but totally fit our needs. On trip advisor there are lots of complaints about room sizes, but I think we lucked out and had a room on the 6th (top) floor, which had an adorable balcony overlooking the rooftops of Montemarte! We had the Haussman apartments for the bridal parties to get ready hours before the ceremony which were large and well decorated, perfect for pictures. Our first look took place in a beautiful Parisian courtyard with our bridal party looking on from balconies above us. Les Salons Hoche provided us with a 1950's Rolls Royce and a driver to take us around Paris for photos (Bir-Hakeim overlooking the Eiffel Tower, and a side road with the Arc de Triomphe in the background). When we returned, our wedding took place on the rooftop, enclosed in glass and beautifully decorated. After the ceremony, we moved downstairs to another room for the cocktail hour with extra space in the courtyard. The reception took place in a beautiful, marble-floored room called Etoile. Every little detail, whether we discussed it or not, was perfectly done. They host a lot of events there, so when you visit before the wedding (we were there 4 days before ours) there is lots of work going on. On the day of the wedding though, the location is completely transformed with tasteful details (white curtains, flowers, candles, etc.). The food was amazing. We upgraded our food package (to "Prestige") and it exceeded expectations. Our guests, who mainly come from New York City and attend lots of weddings, raved about the quality/flavor/abundance of food during cocktail hour and during dinner. For dinner, we had the salad with lobster and mango (excellent), Beef Tenderloin (very well cooked unlike most wedding food), and Assortment of Cheeses (you're in France, of course, this is good :) ) , and the Cake (American style with strawberry inside - this was a huge hit with our guests). This was all made possible because of the hard work and excellent communication of Guiliana. She was amazing to work with and spent hours with us discussing the venue, food, timing, and all the small details. We worked with her across multiple time zones (9 hour time difference) and she always made herself available to work with us. Wedding planning can be stressful, especially from afar, but Guiliana made this an enjoyable experience for us. The true test of the success of a wedding comes after it's all over. When I asked my wife "what would you change about the wedding day", her response was "not a single thing",
