The first words that come to mind when describing this hotel is modern, classic and simple. Located in a really convenient part of the CBD, it is easily accessible via public transport and there is plenty to do within walking distance. The entrance lobby is small and modern with friendly staff. The other half of the lobby is made up of a restaurant.
I stayed on the top floor (14th floor) in a spa suite which was spacious and gorgeous. The carpeted room consisted of a queen bed with fresh, clean linen (made nicely with plenty of cushions), a small television, couch, desk, chair and one side of the room covered in mirrors surrounding a beautiful, large spa. The spa was modern with jets, gorgeous steps, and easily fit two people with room to spare. The other side of the room had multiple curtained windows adjacent to another building. Attached to this huge room was another with a large mirror and the bathroom which contained a small shower, toilet and large sink area. The only downside was that the air conditioning, despite adjusting it to the coldest setting, wasn't enough to cool the room lower than 27 degrees. I have a feeling this is due to the size of the room but honestly, it was such a great stay and there is always the spa to cool yourself down should you dislike the heat, like myself. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Brisbane area. read more
