I have Photos attached to where Heather made an event page, where she was looking for people to take photos of to help her business. So I booked a time with her and let me tell ya, when this young girl couldn't even get her own appointments together was a headache. She kept changing her timings and days. That was a red flag in it self but i said that's okay I will give her time. In her ad she offered Hair and Make up and wine and pretty much a good time. So I was super excited, I have never done hair and makeup before but then I get hit with another red flag. She tells me the night BEFORE she couldn't find hair and make up artist for me, you would think she would ask you to reschedule but she didn't. So I let that slide by too and said its fine I will do my own. So my fiance and I get to Carlsbad beach and Heather isn't there. After texting her several times she finally calls said she has technical difficulties and will be late. She was LATE 30 MINUTES TO HER OWN APPOINTMENT! I let that go as well. The shoot to about an hour and ten to fifteen minutes. It was okay, but way too long and holding one pose for too long. Then I ask her about her pricing and how much for a CD with the photos on there, she hits me with $499... WOW!! I was like okay well do you take payment plans(mind you I have no idea about pricing and things like that, this is my first photo shoot). Then she took a 100$ from me and she said she will get in contact with me with payment plans. My Fiance and I waited for about a week or so and we talked to other photographers and realized that Heather's pricing are pretty high for someone who is JUST STARTING THEIR BUSINESS. So I emailed her and she emailed back about meeting up but she never came through with her trying to meet up. At this point I was fed up with her terrible communication. I told her I don't think at the time I could afford her photos due to being out of work for an injury and that her prices are TOO HIGH and if she would work with me for the 100$. The only option she gave me was for me to get her 4-5 client referrals and to work off the 500$ in that way. My jaw dropped and I couldn't believe this girl. I emailed her back and just told i can't do that my grandmother is in the hospital and I don't have time. No response from Heather for WEEKS from her. After a hard time with my grandmother passing and tired of Heather playing games with me I just wanted a refund from her and did not want the photos. She wouldn't refund my money because she said that she had put images on a cd already for me, which didn't make sense to me because she said she wouldn't do that until the customer pays their debit off. Mind you I never hired this lady to do my pictures we volunteered to HELP her with her business by taking these photos. I am a supporter of local business but this young lady needs serious classes in business management and to learn some professionalism. She was ignoring my emails about my refund and finally said, WHEN SHE IS READY TO DEAL WITH MY SITUATION THAT SHE WILL CONTACT ME! Wowwwww enough is enough Heather, IF YOU TRULY NEED THE 100$ SWEETY JUST SAY IT, ILL DONATE IT TO YOU and I hope you take the 100$ and take some business classes and professional guidance, I will start you a gofundme account to help you with those class payments. So since March she has not been accommodating to me or my fiance. She stole my 100$ and i have yet to see ONE PHOTO of that days session.
