Hence, my use of this company but it was the WORST closing experience of my life. They are not client/customer friendly and did everything to benefit the builder not me as the customer. This includes closing which took more than 45 days and scheduled on the "only" day the builder was available even though the builder wasn't there. Super intrusive as well. I have an 800+ credit score, enough liquid cash to cover 10 months of mortgage, federal job with decent salary, and a disabled veteran. This wasn't enough for them. They asked for all kinds of additional items and accounts which were not relevant to the loan. Help this make sense!! Especially after another mortgage lender could have me approved and closed within 30 days!! Oh communication sucked!!! I shouldn't have to chase you to get a closing date and track down my funds which were supposed to be returned at closing. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

The lender came referred by my realtor but that didn't matter much when it came to the horrible customer service I received. I "worked" with Tan, if you want to call my experienced working with someone. Tan was horrible at communication. It would take him days to respond to my inquiries and most times he pushed me off to his assistant who had limited ability to provide much assistance herself. I've been waiting almost 3 weeks for a response from Tan or anyone in his office regarding the process of my refinance application and have not heard anything. Tan asked for all of my personal information such as tax returns, bank statements, etc, things that any company would for such a business transaction-Howver, when you give over such important information to someone and never hear back you start to fear for the risk of potential cyber crime, fraud, or identity theft. I am sending in a complaint to the attorney generals office of Virginia, the better business bureau, as well as the 3 credit bureaus. If you want to work with a company you can trust during one of the most important purchases of your life whether it be for a first time homebuyer, refinance, investment acquisition, etc, do yourself a favor and bypass this company.
