Called so many times and left a voicemail then I finally emailed them saying I've been calling to make an appointment for microdermabrasion, they did email me back asking me what kind of appointment I would want to make? Hello? Aren't you reading the subject and body of the email? MICRODERMABRASION or you just didn't care to read it? I emailed them back saying what kind of appointment I am trying to set. They never emailed me back or called me back. This is way back in August 25. What is now? Sept 20. 1 month with no reply is very unprofessional. If you can't accommodate people, why sell on Groupon then? Bad business all over. I finally called Groupon to just cancel my order. I don't recommend this place at all. Unprofessional- don't waste your time or money. A family member purchased gift certificates as a Christmas present for all three of us girls and the funny thing is we can't even use them. When calling to make an appointment in June, they don't answer the phone. They have a recording that says we are now booking up until September. I thought no big deal, September isn't that far away. So I send a text message and got my appointment booked. I told my family member about my appointment and she wanted to use her certificate and get her massage with me so I tried to see if they could reschedule my appointment so we can book ours together. The person replies to my text message "that would have to be in October" I reply, that sounds perfect. The person never texts back to confirm a date nor time. I feel bad for my family member for wasting his money on certificates we can't redeem. Unprofessional and inconvenient. Tucked away in a downstairs corner of the same building that houses the restaurant Caprice, this quiet spa offers a variety of services including massages and facials. I opted for a Groupon deal for a 75 min hot stone massage. Nicole was very sweet and did exactly what I asked for---she really made thorough use of the allotted time and targeted my problem areas. I actually dozed off for a bit! The spa itself was clean and has a soothing aura. What would have made this a 5 star experience: while I appreciate that Nicole was quiet (I'm not the type that needs my masseuse to make constant small talk with me), I do wish that she had asked me a few more questions in the beginning such as "Is this pressure comfortable for you?" or "is the temperature of the room good?" And while she was performing the massage it would have been nice to hear "I'm about to lay this hot stone on your back" or "Let's turn your head to this side" instead of just taking my head and moving it. I also would have liked to know what type of body oil was used. A towel wrap or headband of sorts to keep the oil off my hair, and a warm wet towel at the end to remove excess oil would have been helpful. I left feeling relaxed but rather sticky. Anything I asked Nicole to adjust, she seemed more than happy to do so I would just suggest speaking up more. At the price I paid for the Groupon, I am satisfied with my experience, however I would probably have rated this 3 stars if I had paid full price. read more

I just have to say, Amy is the best! This has to be one of the best massages I have ever received! I walked out with body tingles all over. Literally from the top of my head, to the end of my nose, to the tips of my toes! The shop is tucked neatly away underneath the hustle and bustle of downtown Redlands, so it feels like a quiet, secret spot. Everyone talks with their "spa voices", oh so calming to this mother of two boys' nerves. Really disappointed in the customer service, but the massage therapists do a good job. My boyfriend and I each bought groupons for three massages. I booked them for the same time, and with two female massage therapists, each time. The first two massages went great, but the third one was a disaster. I booked it in person, and wrote the time in my appointment book that I had, right there. The receptionist also told us that we were booked with two female therapists. Now, the two previous times, my bf and I each got a reminder text with the time and name of the massage therapist. For the last massage, only I got a text, it it said my appointment was 15 minutes earlier than I had booked. My bf and I arrived, and the receptionist told us that my bf's appointment was at the original time I had booked, but mine was 15 min earlier, and she didn't know how it had happened. I went in for my massage, and my bf waited. I got undressed and was lying on the table, waiting for my massage, when my therapist came in and said that there had been a miscommunication, and my boyfriend was booked with a male therapist, but he was uncomfortable. I immediately offered to trade therapists, and got dressed. Once I got to the hallway, my therapist now told me that my bf was angry, and didn't want to switch. I then went to the waiting area and my bf told me that he had told both therapists that he was going to re-book and wait for me while I got my massage, and it upset him that I had been bothered after he told them that. Also, the receptionist refused to admit she had messed up our appointments, failed to apologize, and was trying to argue with him while she was on the phone with someone else. At that point, I was too stressed out to get undressed again and get a massage,. I handed the therapist a $20 tip and told her I was leaving. She then asked me not to be mad at the receptionist, because she had only been there three months and the job was overwhelming. At this point, I'm upset that my bf and I each paid for a massage that we didn't get, and I gave a $20 tip on top of that. I don't understand why I was disturbed from my massage, when my bf had already told them he was going to re-book. Neither of us want to return there and deal with that receptionist again. I will say that I've been exposed to many different massage therapists since 2007 but I have to say Rebecca is by far thee best. She simply knows what she's doing... I love this place! I first got a groupon to come here for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and that's how I discovered them and then I just continued to come here because I fell so deep in love. I have now gotten the microdermabrasion with there special of 2 services for $129. My face feels amazing and my skin is looking so radiant and I could not be happier! I fell for their scam of the package deal last year which makes each massage $50. It's been over a year and every time I try to make an appointment they claim that they are booked 2+months in advance. I don't know about other customers, but I don't know my schedule 2 months in advance. When I call other places I can book my massage within two weeks. This business is shady, they get your money but make it extremely difficult to make an appointment and eventually people give up and go to other places and they keep your money. Had an appointment with Amy today after purchasing a Groupon for a 90 minute Swedish massage/body scrub/facial combo several months ago. She has such a welcoming warm energy about her that I felt immediately at ease. Sometimes there can be a little bit of awkwardness when you first meet a massage therapist, but none of that with her. Her room was cozy and relaxing and fit perfectly with her demeanor. She has a firm but gentle touch and I really couldn't say which part of the experience I enjoyed the most. I really loved that she used lotions and scrubs infused with essential oils too. The whole visit was wonderful from start to finish. My skin feels so soft from the body scrub and the moisturizers and my entire body was happy and relaxed when I walked out the door.
