With in 5 mins our pedicures started. I asked for the second one on the list but was told it had not started yet since they just remodeled and are working on getting new services. They however off sugar scrub and wax as an add on to regular pedicure. Not hot stones at this time, but that was ok. My lady was really awesome, Kimmy really took care of us. They have only been opened back up for a few days since they started the remodel. It looks really updated. The pedicure message chairs are great. Really gives you a full message (butt, shoulders, whole back) not like most where it is only upper and lower back. Will come back to this place as it is close to my hotel and the service was great.

I really wanted to like this place. The vibe is clean, the people were super friendly, and the…read moredecor and atmosphere is very nice. The reason this isn't a one star review is because of that kindness and nice atmosphere. I got a $70 pedicure package with no color, just clear coat. The package was supposed to come with two different types of massage, different treatments, etc. I think I was worked on for maybe 15 minutes total in the hour I was there, and the one massage I received was less than one minute. This alone wouldn't have turned me away, but the kicker was that one of the people rotating between people's feet (including me) did not change his gloves or wash them the entire time. This person was using multiple products, touching all parts of people's feet, and then moving right onto the next person with those same gloves and same product residue straight to the next person. I can get over them having a lot of people and being overworked, therefore not paying a lot of attention to one person and having a lot of waiting in between. That's understandable. But possibly giving me foot fungus or worse by not changing gloves between clients? I can't get over it. Had to scrub my feet when I got home just to make sure I didn't end up with anything. For $70 plus a tip I expected a lot more, but unfortunately I will not be back.

While visiting for the weekend I needed a manicure and booked online easily. I was greeted with…read morefriendly service and received a quality gel manicure. The space was clean and inviting. If I was back in Osoyoos I would for sure be a repeat customer.

I relocated to the Okanagan about 2.5 years ago and started going to Osyoos Nails. At first, I had…read moregood experiences and really enjoyed going Over time, though, things became inconsistent. I like to book with different technicians and always scheduled appointments in advance, but I was often treated more like an impediment than a valued, repeat customer When booking with Stella, she would often step in for only the first or last part of my service, passing me off or passing me up while juggling other - I'm assuming - preferred clients. I was not getting the appointment I had actually booked and was having to repeat my wants and needs to multiple people throughout the service, which was not a great experience With Julie, the appointment was often stressful. There was pushback on things like nail length, and I was rushed choosing colors. When I booked time for nail art, it was often declined as "too difficult," and eventually I just stopped asking for nail art altogether. Additionally, I would come in with a color reference and ask her which colour was closest, and in a hurried haphazard way, I would be shown something that wasn't even close. I would then end up taking the time to find a better match myself. This would shorten the appt time and rush the service even more which raised anxiety ‍ and made the experience very unpleasant and uncomfortable. I also eventually stopped pre-picking colors and just chose from the wall instead. Another thing that became increasingly uncomfortable for me was the communication in the salon. Staff would often speak to each other in their language while working on clients. I completely respect this, but as a client, it can feel awkward and isolating when conversations are happening around you, not with you, and that you can't understand. It was also sometimes quite difficult trying to communicate specifics about your needs. The overall vibe started to seem like there were "preferred" clients, and I was made aware I wasn't one of them. As someone a bit more introverted, being treated inconsequential made the experience quite stressful, to the point where I found myself feeling anxious before appointments and leaving feeling worse despite making an hour or so appointment for "pampering". I did quietly and respectfully share this feedback during my last visit with both Stella and Julie. It was received politely in the moment However, afterward I noticed I could no longer book online, which is honestly very hurtful. I also noticed I couldn't leave a review for the salon or either Julie or Stella, which would explain the higher but controlled reviews in Fresha. If you're someone who is okay being more fluid with the overall experience, including communication, your needs and preferences, obvious preferential treatment, and timing, you may still enjoy it here. But for me, consistency, clear communication, integrity and being treated respectfully as a client really matter, and that's why I won't be returning.

Adorn has been around for four years, but new management just took over the business in June! The…read morespace is already cute, and they aren't even done decorating yet! I could tell they are going for a hometown feel, mixed with a bohemian/almost Anthropology-like vibe. The main sitting areas are coming along nicely. Denise did mine and my sister's nails for my sister's wedding. She was the only nail tech in the salon, which surprised me. But we had advance notice - they send you a text to confirm your appointment and you can see who will be doing your nails - so we gave ourselves 2.5 hours for two shellac manicures and one shellac pedicure. Adorn has a good color assortment for shellac nails, but the book that was given to us had lost most of the example colors, and many of the example colors were placed on incorrect numbers. Because of this, it took about 10 minutes (on top of 10 minutes of indecision on our parts...) to find the matching number for the shellac color my sister chose for her manicure. After twenty minutes of choosing colors and locating the correct bottle, we finally started our appointment. Denise was so sweet and very conversational, and we really enjoyed our time with her. I was a little bummed that she didn't shape or trim my nails and completely left my cuticles untouched. But more than anything I was disappointed with the unclean edges on both mine and my sister's shellac manicures. I had to clean it up with my own nail tools when I got home, and within 36 hours I had already lost one nail due to the edge of one of my nails catching on something. I know it's high pressure to do a bride and bridesmaid's nails, but our manicures really should have been cleaner by the time we walked out of our appointment.
