I won't be trusting Angi's List again, but I've never had issues before now. No official quote was issued, partly my fault for not insisting. Therefore, no receipt afterwards. They didn't have a secure payment portal, so once again I did something stupid and paid in cash. Day of service, they showed up over an hour late. I didn't think much of it because it was slightly dirty and empty so should have been fairly easy and basic. She claimed that her system was down and couldn't remember what we agreed to, so I reminded her. And once again I'm too trusting. My husband and I had other things we were working on around the house in prep for final move-out inspection so we left the ladies to do what they needed to. In the middle of running a quick errand, I get a call from my husband telling me we need an extra $50 to clean the oven. I explicitly explained that a move-out cleaning needed to include that. Already stressed and at last minute I agreed. Once done, which was indicated by the lady mopping her way out the front door, I paid. (I've hired cleaners for this kind of work before and had great experiences.) Once again partly my fault for not insisting that I get to inspect before final mopping, I just trusted since this was supposedly a five-star business. The next day I went back to finish painting and discovered that a horrible job had been done. The corners in every room still had dirt in them, half the baseboards were not cleaned, none of the kitchen cabinet faces were wiped down, none of the kitchen drawers were wiped out, and so on. The work that was done was sloppy. I had to do additional cleaning in order to prep for final walkthrough the next day. Walkthrough day, more issues were discovered like a black ring under the rim of the toilets that had not been cleaned amongst so many other finer details. This house had nothing in it, just the dirt and dust and the usual culprits of shower, toilets, oven, and other basics. I had to go out and spend another $50 on cleaning supplies after spending the $250 for half of a duplex that is less than 1100 square feet. When I reached out to this company for at least a partial refund, I got nothing but defensive and blame placing argument. She had the audacity to blame my husband for interfering, which was wholey untrue and since I was the one who hired her, I was the one she should have been talking to anyway. She has yet to give me a partial refund even after her juvenile responses. My recommendations are to make sure you get a quote, receipt and inspect her work before handing over payment of any sort. Her word cannot be trusted.

Jelena explained it would be $200 to clean the whole townhome, I trusted her to clean it as my wife and son closed on a new house far away from Jacksonville. I had a carpet cleaner come to the home after she had "cleaned" and he asked me on the phone "Did you have someone professionally clean this place?" I responded "Yes" and he sent me pictures along with my landlord. I confronted Jelena and she stated it would take hours more and what she called a Deep Clean. Which is true, we needed a big cleaning and when she arrived to give me a quote before starting cleaning services was "$200." If she expected it to be more for the home to be clean, she should have quoted me higher before starting services. I took her word value and quote seriously.
