He diagnosed a bad fan in about 5 min. ordered a new fan was back in a couple days with it and showed me how the new fan was a new model # so this was a known issue that GE had since addressed and released a new fan version. He also explained how they only work with manufacturers they know they can get parts for quickly. Who wants to be without a fridge for weeks/months? I've been hearing about this screen since then and today my grandma said that she needed to see if it was finished. I told her I'd go down to see if it was finished and get it for her. Walked in and was asked if we needed any help. Told the man we were there to pick up a screen. Some kid went in the back and said it wasn't finished. We asked when it would be finished because it had been here awhile, and we were told that the guy who does the screens only comes in on weekends (and he might be on vacation right now), and that he usually puts the aluminum screens in front of the wooden ones because wooden ones are such a pain. Okay, so what I'm hearing is that I clearly need to take it someplace else. We said we'd take the screen back and the man said he'd call the screen guy. After his call the man goes, "we'll there must be a lot of grandkids because a grandson was here yesterday and asked for the screen and we told him Saturday or Sunday." (Yesterday was Saturday, and today is Sunday. Also it's not your business how many grandkids my grandparents have?) He said he would give our grandparents a call today when it was finished. I can only pray that that'll actually happen. My point is: my grandparents will probably continue to shop here because they have for 30 years, but I won't be coming back. (The bird bath I was going to buy? Forget it.)

The owner is a very decent man who runs an honest shop, and the prices for vacuums and for repairs are very reasonable. My wife and her mom have been customers probably since my wife was a little girl, and I started going there back in 2010, when my wife and I moved to Ohio (i'm originally from NY). My wife told me she had purchased her Riccar from Bryson's back in 1997. Well, after 24 years, the motor just went out. We were going to have a new motor installed but since the price of a new Riccar was so reasonable, we decided to buy a new one. The 25D model is a nice upgrade from the 25S model and for only an additional $100, you get a lot more + a nice 3-year warranty. The owner took the time to demonstrate the floor model and also let my wife have a chance to use it to make sure she liked it. He showed us all the features and pointed out where the filters were and how to replace the bag and how you can turn off the brush to do other types of cleaning. When that was done, he opened a new box and assembled our new vacuum and gave us a 6-pack of bags at no charge. 5-star service all the way. So now my wife is happy (happy wife, happy life!) that she has a brand new Riccar, and I don't have to stare anymore at a 24-year-old vacuum held together with duct tape, velcro and wishful thinking. We had purchased it from him 15 years ago. He cautioned us Dyson had discontinued parts, due to age, but he could look at it and see what he could do. Meanwhile I researched new vacuums and returned to the shop to discuss options with him, and decided on a potential replacement. However, he then called us and said the vacuum was fine and unclogged, and we could pick it up. A less ethical dealer might have said it couldn't be fixed to get a $600 sale. When I went to pick it up, the total charge with tax was $13.99. Not only that, but we realized he had forgot to fix a problem with the hose, and he insisted on fixing it and dropping it off at my office 2 hours later! I would have been glad to wait another day or so to return! Not only is he ethical and knowledgeable. he is a really nice guy to talk to! I would never go elsewhere to purchase or repair a vacuum.

It was very hard to start after I used it for only a few months, so I took it back to them for repair. They fixed it for free under warranty. This summer, 2020, it again refused to start just when I needed it most for my garden. I was told it would be at least a 2-week wait until they could look at it. After waiting, when I went to pick it up they charged me $50 to "flush the carburetor", and they claimed the 5-yr warranty did not apply because the gas was "stale". I insisted the gas was fresh and gave me no problems when used in all my other equipment (lawn mower, weed eater, chain saw). They went on to say that the gas should not even be left in the tank for even a month. If this is true, then the manufacturer should so state it in the operator's manual, which they do not. Needless to say, I strongly advise anyone else to avoid buying an ECO model TC-10 rototiller, and further patronizing Wadsworth Tractor & Mower who fails to honor the manufacturers warranty. These are also sold at the big box store for less money, but I thought I would spend a little more in case I had service problems. Lot of good that did me. I see this business has historically a lot of good reviews. However, I think there was a recent change in ownership since I bought the tiller in 2018.
