Do I understand what they were going for when they designed the Streets of St. Charles. Yes, and in…read moretheory I liked the mixed uses design. There is a movie theater, tons of restaurants, office space, a hotel, and residential space. Do I actually enjoy it? No, this place is the 7th circle of hell for me. There is simply too much going on and the infrastructure for it isn't properly designed. The are only a couple in and out flows for the center, there aren't always stop signs so there are a lot of awkward driving situations, and then there just isn't enough parking. I always just end up going to the parking garage and going to the top level to save myself the hassle of hunting for spots. The good. There are a fair number of restaurants. If you want the buzz of an active area I get it. A lot of the restaurants are higher end, and this is a good area for people in their 40-60s. I just haven't had great experiences at any of the restaurants and the absolute pain of the ill designed center is a big negative. I don't live in St. Charles, so it isn't enough of a draw to make me want to drive west and visit this congested center. I'd take the congestion of downtown or Kirkwood Webster over this any day.

My favorite casual spot there is Mission Taco and for brunch try Prasino. Their Bloody Mary is well-liked. There is a lot of surface lot parking and a multi-level parking garage. For entertainment, check out the Funny Bone Comedy Club, AMC movie theater or the occasional street concert during warmer months. There are a few speciality shops interspersed in the complex, too.

I have been a loyal customer for a few years. I will say the past four times I've brought items in…read morewhen I checked my total it was only seven dollars after bringing over 40 pieces of items in. Keep in mind that they do donate them after so many days. I can't remember exactly. It is donated they keep 100% of the profit and it's just donated to their store. Today I mixed up my appointment time. I couldn't get it to pull back up and I came an hour early they would not accommodate me so I had to drive around for an hour which just frustrating because of how gas is pricey then when I did come back for my appointment. I was only in there for three minutes. I brought in over 40 items of clothing and two boxes and they only took about five items. It was very frustrating to say the least. I wish I would have just accommodated me if I knew it was only gonna take them three minutes to go through my clothing when I originally came in. It's also important to note the items I brought in were brand new, never worn items. This is not, including the home decor that I brought in. They do not take home decor it's only clothing. I keep trying to give this place a chance because I love it here due to the customer service However, they are not doing well with sales, and this experience was very unpleasant. It's hard to continue to want to do business with a consignment store when you're only getting seven dollars for 40 items and then when you make an appointment they only take five items in out of over 20 you bring in.

The owners are super friendly and helpful. Carve out a n hour or two to browse this shop; you won't leave empty handed - thank me later :)

I've been here twice now, and I really appreciate this store. I've been able to find everything I…read moreneed, which is definitely helpful considering the location is out of my way. The employees I've interacted with have been super friendly, even as they were totally getting slammed with huge numbers of customers. I really wish they had more cashiers though. The lines can be very long, and I know the cashiers would be thankful for a lighter load. Both times I've been in, I've needed balloons, and the employees were very helpful to make them for me with no attitude whatsoever. That's very appreciated, because I've been to other stores for balloons, and the employees have made it a point to show their displeasure. The store can be a bit cluttered and disorganized in the aisles at times. Honestly, I think it's just a matter of many customers and not enough time to put up new stock. It's not really an issue, however. I mean, I had no problems finding what I need. I do love the single sizes of many food items. It's a very good value to buy what I need as a party of one rather than buying way too much of something I can't eat. I love coming here especially for pasta salad since the box is exactly the size I always need.

This is my favorite Dollar Tree store ever since they opened in the old Blockbuster space. The…read moreaisles are always clean, the shelves well organized, and they have a great selection of items including some namebrands. I like to stock up on reading glasses here because I lose them all the time and I can keep a pair in every room and a couple in my car because they are only $1! The only complaint I have is that many times they are understaffed with only one cashier and one person stocking shelves, so the line at the cashier can get long at times. The cashier will call for help but only after a pretty long line has formed. They are not really enforcing social distancing, but I understand the associates don't want to be confrontational with customers. I have learned to solve this issue by standing in front of my cart and pulling it along so that I force the person behind me to be at least a cart length away. Some of my favorite items to purchase here are, frozen Twix bars, reading glasses, travel size Advil bottles, hand sanitizer that comes in a little travel case that you can attach to your purse or backpack, kitchen scrubbies, candy, trail mix, greeting cards, seasonal decorations, tea light candles, and parchment paper.
