They focus on value family vehicles. I knew I should have upgraded to the 1 series but at the same time it's really expensive to rent when you come from out of country. So we got a manual Opel station wagon to cruise around Spain. Spongy throttle and sloppy transmission made driving around town and up and down the A8 a very interesting experience. Germany has way too many great car manufacturers to settle with manufacturer but I can see having one as a beater/commuter if I lived in Europe proper
