Interestingly the solution was simple enough and after acupuncture and some medical massage I was again able to walk again without pain. At all times the doctor was professional and answered my questions without hesitation, because he knew exactly what the solution was. That in itself put me at ease. However the acupuncture needles really did not hurt. It is now 3 days since my treatment and I am pain free. As there were no seats left at L&B I decided to give this latest addition a try. Apparently, this was their very first day of trading at Urban Bliss (a lovely spa and treatment centre). I also didn't know that Crazy Baker has its main home just up the road in Kensal Green where all the breads and cakes are baked on site. They offer quite a substantial menu of hot dishes and sandwiches. The tomato & basil soup sounded tempting and didn't disappoint. I was offered a choice of breads and went for toasted spelt which went really well. A free mini pastry to celebrate their first day was a nice touch. The atmosphere does not match that of the aforementioned competition, but there is probably room for two cafes on this increasingly popular stretch of Portobello Raod. I will definitely come back for some bread to take home, and perhaps the odd lunch.

After the accident my husband spent 6 months off from work with terrible back and leg pain, numerous visits to Physiotherapy and Doctors had little relief so we looked at having Acupuncture. His first visits were to the Strood branch which closed one week without any notice or cancellation of appointments and he was reluctant to carry on as it didn't appear to make any difference (apart from the brief relief during treatment) but we looked up another anyway and so glad we did. They suggested Massage alongside the Acupuncture and went through everything with us beforehand. They recommended some additional products to use at home as well us advising how and where extra massage / stimulation should be done too. Within a couple of months there was a huge difference. Where's before my husband couldn't even sit for any period of time without immense pain he was now able to do light activities. It wasn't cheap though and appointments were every week to start but we eventually got it down to every 3, treatment here went on for around a year and since emigrating 9 months ago he has not had any further treatment and the problem hasn't returned! At times we did feel they were a little pushy with having us buy extra products but they did actually help so I guess they were just doing what was best for my husband. If anybody is contemplating going here I would say ''go for it''. They did a great job and I finally got my fully functioning husband back!
