Most of the staff are very rude, especially if you wake them from a nap on the counter (I kid you…read morenot). I stopped renting there, and drive an hour to Cranbrook to buy videos instead.

I mentioned I was a Margaret Atwood admirer and was shown some early works in paperback that I had not seen previously. The friendly owner also introduced me to Margaret Laurence and I happily left the shop with five paperbacks for about $25. Just arrived back in Melbourne and just finished all five books and couldn't be more pleased with the recommendations. I'd be a regular customer if I lived a bit closer than 13,500 kilometres away.

I was late for a life changing hospital appointment and tried to buy bus tickets from Wait's news…read more I explained to them I was in a rush and my life depended on it. She flipped through paperwork doing inventory for 2 minutes and told me she didn't have tickets for sale and made a rude comment about how she could go even slower. I borrowed change from a friend instead of dealing with this unprofessionalism. I've had nice exchanges there before, but this was unacceptable.

This place has a lot of good books. And can mostly find the book you want. I believe it needs more…read morespace thow. Some times there's just not always the book you need and I don't want to say this but I think Coles is better
