Dr. Repscher is nice, easy going and great to work with. Unfortunately, his front office team needs training on communication, ethics and most importantly being professional. My initial contact with the office was great. However, after a cap replacement, I specifically said "please charge my card and ensure its in full". Their response "yes, we already billed the insurance, this is the full balance, there will be no further bills". Move forward 5 months and 3 more bills for the same appointment. I keep asking, "how can i have 3 more bills for the same appointment? ... Every time, they tell me my bill is paid in full and yet another bill arrives each month. Clearly, Dr. Repsher doesn't need any new patients since he is abundant with over billing and has no handle on his office team. There are many great dentists out there, find an office that actually knows what they are doing. read more

I only gave 1 star because the billing department is horrible. They got my account mixed up with my husbands account and said I was all paid up. I had set up appointment to get my permanent crown and they called the day of my appointment and said I owed quite a lot of money and so they cancelled it until I paid it. I later made another appointment to get the work done and paid the bill which they said was all paid up. About 3 months later they said I owed more money and that they were sending to collections if I didn't pay. This is rediculous and I will never go back there. read more

I've been to a ton of dentists because I've moved around a lot. I notice the "feel" of the office and whether the dentist actually listens to me, with each one I go to. I have no complaints about Dr Repscher's office or him. The office staff is interactive, I felt heard and helped. Dr Repscher himself seemed to like his work and listened appropriately to my concerns. The new crown he put in feels wonderful. He polished it so it feels like a small sculpture. Absolutely the worst front desk staff I have ever encountered. Any request or question is met with rudeness and outrage that anyone would expect any of them to actually do anything. The dentist made wildly inappropriate conversation about polygamy while I was being worked on. Seriously, spare yourself. Go somewhere else. read more

I really liked this office and the care I received when it first opened. However, the past few times I've gone it has felt like Dr. R is a used car salesman. All I am looking for at the dentist is a straight answer and some options for care. What you get at Spanish Peaks is a sales pitch that feels shady and 100% profit motivated. The last time I went for a cleaning the hygienist turned into a demeaning wench when I informed her that I would not be needing a fluoride treatment. She went on and on about how my teeth would surely crumble in my mouth if I didn't fork over the $30. Well, I am pleased to say that one year post fluoride refusal my pearly whites are holding strong and feel great. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Repscher for dental work for a few years now. He's a really great dentist, very personable. He's the only reason I gave 2 stars. His staff is really not awesome. During my cleanings, the hygienist kept asking me questions--conversational questions, not yes or no questions. I can't really carry on a conversation when I'm having my teeth cleaned. Shannon, in particular, has been nothing but bad attitude when I've spoken with her. I recently ran into a billing issue and when I tried to work with her on it, she was very bitchy and not helpful at all. Bozeman isn't a big town, but there are a lot of options for dental help--I'll definitely be looking for someone else to help me in the future. read more

I've had great experiences and care with the crew here. The office is clean, organized, and welcoming. They accepted and billed my insurance, and that seems to be something that some dentist are getting away from. Everyone seems happy to work here, and that speaks in volume. I just moved back to Bozeman this past year and had my teeth cleaned at Dr. Repscher's office this spring (2012). The cleaning was thorough, but very expensive ($180) compared to what I was used to paying. Because I was busy, I figured that might be the going rate here and forgot about it. I was told to come back in 6 months. Later in the summer my husband went in for his first cleaning at Dr. Repscher's clinic. He was told he needed a deep cleaning and he ended up having to go in twice (two quadrants at a time) and each time they charged $180! I examined the coding on our statements and discovered that I had received a "deep cleaning," as well! The thing that bothers me about this, is that neither of us were ever given the option to decline the deep cleaning and just get a regular cleaning and given a chance to work on the trouble spots at home. Because of our move back to Bozeman, we hadn't had our teeth cleaned for almost a year and I admit that I had several 4mm pockets (my husband had several more). But we definitely practice good dental hygiene with cleanings usually every 6 months. I have only once ever had a deep cleaning in my life and my husband had never had to have a deep cleaning before. read more

This doctor and office have very sketchy billing policies. In the last few months they have notified us that they no longer accept either dental insurance we have. Prior to that they quoted both my husband and I a cost of around $50 to get cavities filled with our insurance. They then sent us bills for the total cost of the fillings. When we spoke to their office we were informed that insurance didn't cover the cost. How they were able to give us that original quote I do not understand but if you quote a price for work and then the client gets the work done you shouldn't just triple the cost and send them a bill. At the very least a phone call to explain the unforeseen costs could have been made. Time to find a new dentist. read more

Dr. Repsher has always treated my kids & I with the utmost care and respect. The office has a relaxed & upbeat atmosphere that helps with some of their apprehension pre-appointment. Whenever I've had a question about delaying treatment, he's always been very honest about what can or cannot be put off. read more

Front office staff was rude.I have had bad experiences here. I was new to town and I went to that office because of my insurance. I saw they recently they dropped the Spanish Peaks name, probably because their reputation is awful. Move on, there are great dental offices, just not this one. read more

Our family chose Dr. Repscher because his office was listed as a provider for our supplemental dental insurance plan. The care that we received from the him was fine. He is friendly & thorough. As were the hygienists. I have no complaints about the actual dental care. We would still be there if it weren't for the person who did the insurance billing. She did not listen when I tried to explain my coverages & consequently my claims were not paid. They asked that we pay 50% of the charges for a crown even though we had insurance that would pay 65%. We did this and then she filed for only the unpaid half of the charges. By filing in the wrong order, my routine charges were denied even though they would be 100% covered. I disputed the charges. We heard nothing from this office for a year. They did not send me another statement during that time. I assumed that the situation was resolved until I received a statement from a collection agency. They made no attempt to contact me. I left this office and am having no insurance issues with the dentist that my family sees now. The woman who does the insurance for this office is unprofessional and over her head. Unfortunately I am the one who paid for her incompetence. read more

I spent over $1,000 on gold inlays a little over a year ago at this office and one of them popped out this last week. I had to go to another office because this one closes ridiculously early on Fridays. When I called on Monday to ask about warranties I was informed that they only worked with patients who were in every six months. I paid money I didn't have in order to not have to worry about my fillings for the next thirty to forty years by purchasing a good quality inlay, and this one only lasted me a little over a year. Technically I had to pay even more because I had to pay the other dentist to put it back in, and was told that it would probably come out again because the bond is never as secure as it was the first time it was put in. I've had silver amalgam fillings that were put in by the community clinic last ten years, and this gold inlay didn't even last a fraction of the time it was supposed to. Now I will most likely have to drop another $1,000 at another office to have it done again. Very disappointed that the Dr. doesn't value his patient's business enough to consider redoing an inlay, or at least offering a partial warranty in spite of the fact that I'm not in every six months for routine cleanings. I have seen this dentist on and off for many years and always thought he was very nice. I make a very meagre living and this is a huge blow to my pocketbook. I will be looking elsewhere for a dentist in the future next time who is compassionate towards patients who aren't bringing in a six figure income. read more
