I have witnessed countless Republic garbage trucks spewing plastic bags and garbage from their trucks as they move around the Quad Cities. I have called their office to ask management for their excuses for littering our streets and river to no avail. Accountabily=ZERO. Very sad to watch garbage fly into the river today. I'm disabled and have requested several times that the garbage be returned to my garage door after emptying. I have to have my daughter come to my home to drag it to the alley. They have said they would do this but do not. If it's windy, my garbage can blows into the middle of the alley blocking traffic. This is a sh*t company. The city did a way better job. My yard waste bags still sit by the road,and it Saturday, they were supposed to be picked up on Wednesday, now it's raining and the bags will fall apart when they pick them up..the owner replied, email us your complaint and address....you already have my information, you need to call me...The worst company I've ever delt with. This garbage / recycling service put s the garbage in service. They have missed my pickup for recycling multiple times in the past and will reschedule the pickup, then not notify me and tell me it is my fault for not knowing when they rescheduled the missed pickup. This company charges what they want every time I asked for a price it was different. They reversed a charge and recharged me !

The most unreliable company we have ever dealt with. Every time we need our bin emptied we have had to call at least 4 times. Each time, the agent promised that they would be out the next possible day only to have the driver not pick up, while marking it "completed". There is also no follow up to make sure that we are taken care of. Half of the time customer support has been extremely rude and has even tried shifting blame on us for their drivers incompetency. We have had this issue elevated to the most urgent level with the promise of follow-up from whoever the higher ups are, just to be left hanging without so much as a call or having our bin emptied. We have had to resort to throwing away paper instead of having it recycled. DO NOT use this company. They are extremely unprofessional, unreliable, and are unable to fulfill their agreements. read more

Absolutely terrible company to have pick up for your resident. I started my service on the 12th of june they told me my garbage pick up was firdays. Friday comes no garbage pick up, I call they tell me no its mondays. Monday comes and no pick up i call again they tell idk why they didnt pick up but monday is your pick up day. Next day they do a pick up. The following monday comes no pick up again, so i call they tell me no pick up is friday but someone will be out today by the end of the day. Well here it is the end of the day and my garbage is still full. Dont waste your time or money with this company. I cant figure out how to message ive been trying i give up read more

I have repeatedly requested to be contacted by a local representative and have been continually ignored. They recently increased my rates even though they haven't serviced my account for 3 months due to historic flooding. I paid for those 3 months! They are my only choice in trash removal so they can easily take advantage. read more
