We live in bridgeland & have republic services for our trash under inframark. Last week, they missed our wed recycle & Fri regular trash picks up. I called Friday to report a missed pick up & they were able to help resched our pick up & were able to search our address just fine. Then came Tuesday, our other regular trash day & lo & behold, they missed to pick up our trash again. I called the same day & was transferred 3x as they were unable to find my address customer service agents were rude & were extremely not knowledgeable of what they're doing. It wasn't until after I asked for an escalation that they were able to search my address & had to login a ticket for the missed pick ups.. truly an unacceptable inconvenience! You pay religiously & on time, only to be met with crappy customer service read more

They canceled our services for no good reason drivers run the show I guess and customer service was total ass this company sucks.

Not to be confused with Democrat Services, which are much less billionaire-centric. They do a good job around Houston with waste removal, in a city where such things are actually quite difficult. They should be commended for that, and often are, and are one of the companies that are a go-to for this kind of service in town. Absolutely terrible service! Our Account manager Martiza is rude, unprofessional and lacks communication. We have been fighting for months for them to come get their dumpster and they refuse, during that time the homeless set the dumpster on fire and they charged us for damages and did not bother to replace the dumpster. They expect us to follow the contract but they cannot follow it themselves. They went from picking up 3 times a week to once a week and still charging us for all 3 days. DO NOT USE REPUBLIC SERVICES. This review is for a business contact with them. Our issues were: poor customer service, price gouging, providing guidance on the phone contrary to their agreements then threatening charges when you follow the advice given by pointing to the agreement. Pricing: We signed an agreement with an agreed rate, which they increased from $70/mo, to $83/mo, and now $97/mo. What's the point of an agreement if they are going to change the rate by $13-14/mo without your consent? No notification - it just shows up on the invoice and if you don't agree to the rate change, then they just threaten collections instead. Poor customer service: we moved locations (literally across the street). Instead of adjusting our account correctly, they charged us for two accounts. Additionally, we were charged for the removal of the old bin and delivery of a new one, instead of just moving the bin, which we were told could be done at nearly no cost. Instead, we were charged $179+fees for their incompetence. Contradictory guidance: when our business closed, I wanted to cancel our agreement. I informed the agent on the phone as to what was going on and what was needed. He said that as soon as they received a physical letter to [address] that it would be immediately closed. However, Republic continued to charge me for service for another two months after the letter was received. I asked why since I understood that the account was closed and they told me that contrary to what the agent said, that it's 60 days after the letter is received. That's not my problem. They need to hold to what the agent said or train their agents better. Republic Services is a trash company in every meaning of the word. read more

Update! Don't be fooled by the response from Republic Services below. I sent them my information immediately. STILL NO RESPONSE, except they did send me a new bill for "service interruption" and charged me for removing the dumpster. read more
