I had a lot of guilt throwing away so many things because my brother had very nice clothing but it wasn't worth it to me to have it shipped back to California. Jose assured me that his mom would go through the items and send them for donation. Two days after they picked it up, they realized the error when closing out the account. They CALLED ME AND REFUNDED the $76 dollar difference. Recently my sisters and I were tasked with having to renovate our parents house. We heard about…read moreGoliath Waste from a family friend and we gave Edgar (the owner) a call. This was sprung on us completely out of the blue and we didn't have a lot of resources to just pick a removal service out of a hat. After calling around and getting outrageous quotes, our friend assured us that Edgar would be very reasonable and he was! Now, this isn't a huge well known business like the "Got Junk" guys or Waste Mgmt, it's a small, local and family owned business, but he really does take his job seriously. Again this was an unexpected situation but they came through for us. When I called, the owner Edgar, was really nice as I explained the situation to him. I went over the time we needed the dumpster, the address and that was it. On the actual day, he arrived at the scheduled time, left the dumpster and let us get on with it. The payment process was very easy. We took care of the payment when the dumpster was dropped off and there were no extra "hidden" fees. It was a flat and very very reasonable rate. What we really appreciated was that this company didn't rush us at all! When I previously called around to other places, a lot of them had a cap on the time you were allotted once they made the drop off. Or if you went over that time, you had to pay more etc etc. But, they didn't do that here. He assured us that we could take our time and just call him when we were done. Once we finished, I called Edgar and he assured me he would be by to make the pick up. My sisters and I were blown away by the service. We were in a stressful situation and this company made everything simple. It definitely gave us a much needed break. The company is a local business and they serve Houston and the surrounding areas. Overall, I recommend this company if you're doing home renovations and need a junk removal service.
