Are we, the patrons on Kornegay rd in San Benito being forgotten? Rarely is our brush picked up every month. More times than not its every other month. There are some properties that have brush the entire width of the frontage to our road. I would say there are at least 10 truck fulls of brush now. I know the freeze created most of it but that's what progressive companies, do, is gear up for these type of things. Please come get our trash. read more

Since this company took over trash collection services from the previous provider, the quality of service has declined significantly. The former company was reliable, punctual, and consistently completed collections without interruption. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience with the current provider. There are frequent issues related to billing, account management, and communication. Services are often interrupted due to account discrepancies, delayed invoices, or internal administrative problems. When service is suspended, it is extremely difficult to reach a representative to resolve the issue, resulting in unnecessary delays and frustration. For a public service that directly impacts the residents and businesses of Brownsville, this level of performance is unacceptable. Reliable waste collection is an essential service, and the current provider has consistently failed to meet reasonable expectations for customer service, communication, and operational reliability. City officials and decision-makers should carefully review the performance of this contractor and take appropriate action to ensure the community receives the dependable service it deserves. Significant improvements are needed in both customer support and overall service delivery. read more

Discontinuing the service was the most frustrating experience of my life, I'm 74 so that's a statement! Cost was through the roof and kept going up, so the value compared to local companies was not good at all. Can't wait to be done with them! read more

We recently moved here and have called now 6 times to get a garbage bin. We keep getting promised we will be getting one. My husband even offered to pick it up but they said we can't because it gets delivered from some other company They are charging us for service and we have no garbage bin to use! Been at the same residence since 2007 and this is the 3rd time they have cut off our trash service the day before payment was due. They are now requesting $400 for all sorts of fees from 3 months in advance reconnecting fee and much more have and explained we cannot do the $400 up front just the regular payment due to recent death in the family and their response was to take our trash can. We are elderly and unable to pay the big amount at once we can pay on the 1st which is when our funds come in and they are not allowing or being understanding of the situation. read more

Most unreliable company I've ever experienced. Missed one whole side of the block again and then lie and say someone will be back out that day...nope. Next day call again and same bs response..nope. I've been waiting for over a month for a replacement trash can. I've literally called five times, first two times I was told it was scheduled for the day of my next trash pick up but it never happened. The third time I called, they said they had no record of my request and that my issue would be escalated. The fourth, a complaint was filed on my behalf, and the fifth, the regional manager for Harlingen, TX was apparently notified and would take care of it. I'm still waiting five weeks later. And on top of everything, the customer service reps have the nerve to give attitude and say there's nothing they can do. WTH is going on!!!!! read more

I have had service with this company for the last 10 years. They do not provide a reliable trash pickup service. I have had numerous occasions where my bulk trash was not picked up. Four years ago, I called for 3 months to have my trash picked up, and each time I was told it would be picked up. I was even directed to corporate. Nothing was done. The next month came around, yes, 4 months now, and Hurricane Harvey hit. Since my bulk trash was still in my yard, it prevented the water from flowing out of the ditch. This caused the water to flow into my yard and up to my door. If my trash would have been picked up, this would not have occurred. Fast forward to today,two days ago I had a missed pick up and called. I was told they would be there in two days. Yes, you guessed it: No one bothered to come even though I called again on that day to verify pickup. .This company does nothing to help their customers, yet they do not hesitate to draft my monthly payment from me. I am writing this because I am currently browsing the internet for another trash service in my area. I am very disappointed in their lack of responsibility to their customers. read more

I am scheduled for trash pickup on Tuesdays and Thursdays, this week there is no pickup on Tuesday, so Wednesday morning I call 800#.....get someone out of my region...national switchboard....tell her didn't get a pickup on schedule....lady says we'll reschedule for Thursday, okay.....Thursday arrives....comes 5:30 no pickup....I call 800#, recording says 30 minute wait....so I wait...lady comes on the line...give her information....get corporate doublespeak about schedules and not having availability of a local number, AND then I get a case number....lady says the trucks run til 7pm, be patient.....now Friday morning....still no pickup....resort to googling to get a local number (ALL HAIL THE GOOGLE!) ....get a nice lady by the name of Candace....very accommodating....gets my info....has me hold while she contacts a dispatcher....comes back and tells me there is a new driver and is running late, cannot explain not picking up on Thursday but will give me credit for one pickup....BUT....this simply demonstrates the problem with companies handing off customer service phone calls to a national switchboard....kudos to Candace in the Harlingen office....bad words to you, Republic Services. read more
