This company is another greedy utility company. They have forged my name on 3 year contracts when I called to complain about rate increases. Then they just pass u along to avoid speaking to you. I honestly do not think I've ever had worse service in my entire life. We have had this service since 12/2022 and it has consistently been horrible service. Our trash is missed at least once per month and often weeks in a row. No matter how many times we call and are told "sorry they'll come today", they do not come. If we didn't pay in advance I would immediately terminate services and advise no one to use this company. By far the worst company/service I have ever used. read more

Terrible customer service!! I cancelled our service per the terms of the contract. Now, a month after my contract expired I still have a dumpster at our business. I have called customer service and have spoken with FOURTEEN different people. Everyone says "we will expedite your request" or "someone will call you back right away" Neither has happened. Stay away from Republic Services--if you have ANY other option for trash pickup, take it. Republic is far and away the worst company we've ever had dealings with. Pickups were missed all the time. If you call customer service, they promise someone will come, but the majority of the time they're just lying to you or whoever receives the request just ignores it. They kept raising the prices we were paying for the privilege of NOT having our trash picked up. We've fired Republic and signed on with a FAR superior service, but now we can't get Republic to pick up their bin. We've called customer service multiple times and get the same runaround we always did with missed pickups: "We'll send someone," or, "Someone will call," and nothing ever happens. You can't get past the CS gatekeepers to talk to a manager either. Republic Services is a horrible company to deal with that abuses its customers and, frankly, steals their money. Trash pick-up was good after they changed drivers. The charges and added charges are outrageous. Cancellation charges are more expensive than a pick-up. Customer service is rude, the last one hung up on me. I wasn't yelling or cursing at them, but here you go -- FU and f Republic Services! read more

Never know when they are going to pick up. Last week they came Thursday morning, this week Monday morning and they flew by. Tries stopping them this morning to talk to them and they wouldn't stop. Don't recommend! read more

Trash. What a great way to describe this company. I pay for recycling and Republic says that my recycling is to be picked up every other Wednesday- there's even an App with reminders! I wish they would also give their drivers these reminders because my recycling SITS in front of my house for days and sometimes weeks! I call they say "oh we're sorry- someone will pick it up tomorrow- just leave it out there" and NO ONE PICKS IT UP! TOMORROW NEVER COMES!! For 3 months I have accumulated HOURS ON HOLD and still NoOne picks it up! Who gets to not do their job for 3 months and not get fired? No accountability and no service! You DO NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR and you pay WAY too much for nothing! read more

When I moved they sent me to a collection agency without cause wanting over 60 dollars to pick up their empty container

My experience with Republic has been horrible. We bought a house and the previous owner left the trash can for us to use. We called Republic to set up service and they were going to charge us for the can that the previous owner already paid for and left for us. Throughout the year we owned the house the service was average but felt like we were overpaying. When selling the house we called to tell them the date of closing so we wouldn't have to pay for a full 3 months. The lady told us we would get another bill that was prorated for just one month and if we left the can for the next owner we wouldn't have to pay for it to be removed. The next trash day came and went with no trash pickup. Come to find out our service was canceled that day we called. We had almost a month left in the house with no trash pickup because they couldnt turn our service back on without charging us for 3 months. Also, the information about the can pickup was incorrect. They charged us $30 for container removal, $5.95 administrative fee & $12.18 for environmental recovery fee for a total of 48.13 to pick up the can! Beware when they tell you a price for service there will always be other hidden charges! DO NOT RECCOMEND! read more
