Republic services has been charging my grandfather 5x the amount of his neighbors. (His bill is over 150.00 every quarter for one trash container). The customer service rep argued he is a gallatin co resident and won't listen when I say he is not-they are saying they have billed him properly the last 16 years. (When they have not) he pays taxes in grant county and his property is in grant county. He is a grant county resident that was forced to use republic services for trash pick up. My 90 year old grandfather had no idea they were being overcharged so severely until recently. The most frustrating part is that they are acting as (even though it is their mistake) there is nothing That can be done about it. Hold time to speak to someone today was 30 minutes first time I called today, so I hung up and called another department.. and I didn't receive a call back as promised last week. Just frustrating how they are handling this mistake that has been made in their billing. I would have expected better from a business.

My auto payment debit card was compromised so it was cancelled and a new one was sent. I tried to remember all that was on this card as autopay but this one was forgotten. And, because it is autopay, I don't even open the bills that come. So, my service was stopped for non-payment. I called to change the debit card number and explain the situation (of course, I had been out of town most of the month so my family had 2 very full trash cans)! Keep in mind that we have been a customer on AUTOPAY (never late or never missed) for 8 years. When I called to explain the situation, I asked if I could make a payment by phone? NO. Could she help me set up autopay again with the new card? NO. Could she please put me back on trash collection route so my trash could be picked up the next a.m.? NO. So, at this point I'm wondering if there are other options in my area for trash pick up. She asked my address and then told me NO (I really think that's all she knew how to say.) I was told to go to a website and fill out the form, using my username and ID (which was set up 8 years ago, so I have no idea what it is!) in order for them to take my payment! Then it would be a week before I could have pick up again. Wow. Just wow. I'm really at a loss. I'm a top tier customer. I have never even been late on a payment. I even rent their stupid trash cans. My trouble began with theis company when i first contacted them by phone, no web address is accessable thus no e-mail to their mgmt is avail. their customer service is trained to respond the same, never altering. 5 day delivery took over a month, driver complaints were never answered. lawn damage was ignored. and now the our city officials have found a way to terminate CSI as our fine citys waste carrier, problems with my account termination and the waste container removal have gone ignored. I guess another month of their advertizing on my front lawn is the price I have been left with.
