I had been having issues with water in my basement for years, and was also in need of a bulkhead replacement so I called Rescon, on the recommendation of a friend who used them in 2019. Within a week, a project manager (Steve) was out to do an assessment. By the end of that day I had a quote for a full bulkhead replacement and sump pump system with trench for water mitigation, in my inbox. The work was scheduled as soon as I made the decision to move forward. That was mid-April. 4 weeks ago a crew of 3 came out to install the sump pump, and today one gentleman came out to replace the bulkhead. All workers were friendly, professional and meticulous. It's been a year since we had a French Drainage System installed. What's a French Drainage System ? I will tell you. It's perforated pipes that are placed on top of pebbles one foot under ground along the inside perimeter of the home which gets connected to a sump pump which is connected to heavy duty plastic pipes that move water outside and away from the home. That's my layman 's explanation. I highly recommend it and I highly recommend taking advantage of the yearly inspection service offered. Increased our peace of mind and our home's value! read more

Good customer service. A Rescon rep came out to inspect my old bulkhead door and then provided a reasonable quote. I selected what I wanted done from the quote and scheduled the replacement door.There was a delay in the installation but they let me know about the delay early enough for planning. The installer James was friendly and very competent. He did a nice job of lining up and installing the new door. I recommend this company highly. read more

As President of the Bunker Estates Condominiums, we had a structural crack and several settling cracks in the 3 garden style buildings on the property. Working with Marcos, James and Matt with Marcos doing the assessments, I must say how impressed I am with the entire team and the entire project. This was a large project that fixed 18 foundation cracks and included drainage work in the front of one building. We used Rescon back in October 2019 to bury our sump pump discharge at our new home. They did an amazing job, and it's so nice to not constantly have water flowing into our patio area. We ended up having to call them again because our sump pump was causing our breakers to trip. They were able to schedule service in less than a week (which is great in my opinion!), and Nate was able to figure out what the problem was immediately. These guys were absolutely amazing! We were having problems with radon and our sump pump. They came in and replaced our old sump pump, dug it deeper (to be the appropriate depth), and extended the drain to be further away from the house and under ground. First off, they gave us a date in like September/October but managed to actually come out beginning of August. They came within the window and all of the crew was super polite and professional. They put in the new sump pump and even rearranged the hose so it was against the wall and not floating straight up to give it a cleaner look. Originally the pump drained to an open hose right next to the house. They extended it so it was away from the house, buried it and put a proper drain at the end. I don't even know how they did it, but it doesn't look like the ground was disturbed at all. Overall I was super impressed with my entire experience and would highly recommend to anyone! read more

We hired Rescon for a full finish of our 1400 square foot basement. Mike Hankes and Steve Newhall did a great job up front helping with the layout and answering all our questions. The project took approximately 3.5 months and came out fantastic. Kurt was our primary each day and he was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We had asked that all of our finishes matched the top two floors of the home and at the end of the day they did. We ended up having a home office, large home gym, media room and a very large 2 section playroom separated by a knee wall (with a chalk wall feature). We had the basement from hell. When we purchased the home in late summer you couldn't be in the basement without being overwhelmed by an awful smell. It was in bad shape and there were potentially health issues. Dirt floor basement, lots of moisture, signs of water, remnants of mold. Again: basement from hell. I researched several companies and was immediately impressed by Rescon. Bob Brewster was fantastic to work with. Initially he came out to the house twice - once to make an assessment and then to provide a detailed plan to turn our basement from hell into a healthy, clean and usable space. Bob is easy going, detailed and really responsive - and he is incredibly knowledgeable about all things in the area of basement waterproofing. Throughout the entire process Bob was always available to answer any questions that I had. When it came time to have the work done, Bob came out to go over the plan with me and he introduced me to his crew. They worked quickly and provided me updates every day as they went. It was a big job. Vapor barrier on all of the walls in the basement and in a small crawl space area; removing debris and large rocks from the dirt floor, digging a trench, prepping everything for the concrete pour, installing the drainage and sump, overseeing the concrete pour, installing the exterior drainage, etc. The before and after photos are incredible - it doesn't even look like the same basement. After obtaining several quotes and speaking with several business representatives from other companies about waterproofing our basement late November, we hired RESCON. They removed a huge amount of ledge because part of our floor was raised due to ledge....Then they installed a Grate Drain around the perimeter of our basement and finished the floor. We had a minor issue with a leak after they did their work, unlike many companies who would blow you off and not be responsive, RESCON is not like that. They corrected the issue quickly and we couldn't be happier with the service they have provided. They are one of the best companies we have ever worked with. I have a cape style home that was built in the 1950s. Seasonally (spring and fall) with the thaw or heavy rain, we experienced everything from puddles up to 2 inches of water in our basement. Last Decemeber, after a heavy rain, surprise, water in the basement. At that point, I decided I never wanted to deal with it again. I reached out to 3 local waterproofing contractors. After meeting with all the contractors that came out, we decided to go have Rescon Basement Solutions do the work. We found our project Project Manager, Beth Murch, to be the most knowledgeable out of the 3 we met with. We decided to have the work done as soon as possible. To our surprise, they were able to do the waterproofing in the winter. One of our water issues was our walls would leak. Rescon came in and put a sealed wall liner up that then drains the water into a French drain system they installed. We also had a sump pump in the floor in a 5 gallon bucket, that didn't do much of anything. We upgraded to their pumping system with a closed lid. The project only took 4 days. It was unbelievable the amount of work accomplished in such a short period of time. These guys were great! Most importantly, even with all the snow we got last winter, not one drop of water in our basement this spring. read more
