    Stained hotel room sofa

I would give this hotel a zero star if that was an option. Avoid this hotel at all cost unless you want a very unpleasant stay. My shower wasn't working, and I called the front desk for help. They said they would send someone, and no one ever came. I reached out to Marriott Bonvoy after my stay, and they said someone would contact me, and they never did. It's been almost two months and I still have not heard from anyone. The towels were dirty, the room sofa was stained, The bathroom smells of urine and the shower wasn't working. Lodgers please beware.

We stayed in a few hotel in this area when we visited Toledo before. This was an excellent stay. The check in was quick and friendly. The room was very nice and clean. I did use the work out area a few times. the pool and hot tub are located in a nice bright area and they have an area outside that is nice just to sit around and sip a good Merlot. All in all the stay was great, breakfast was very good. The beds were sleep induicve and comfy. I would stay here again if I ever come to Toledo.

We arrived around 7pm and got ourselves checked in. The woman at the front desk was very informative and friendly. She let us know whens breakfast and pointed out where the indoor pool ans fitness center was. She gave us the times its open and sent us on our way. Arriving in the room i was very pleased! This cute studio room was very clean and spotless. If i didnt know any better id say i was the first customer to stay in that room lol. everything just had a new feel! The kitchen had everything you needed for a longer stay except for the groceries, which they had a note that says they will gladly do for you! The bathroom was stocked with its soap/shampoo and 3 huge towels. The living room area was cozy and there was a big screen tv that had lots of channels. The bedroom part was great as well. the bed was very comfy with lots of pillows and even some extra in the closet. i loved the huge wall sized mirrors on the closet door and sink mirror. No complains at all! When we got downstairs for breakfast, there was a good crowd but no lines or anything. They had an awesome selection of breakfast items. Scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits, variety of bagels, toast, diy waffles, cereals, toppings station, yogurts, fruits, really good coffee, teas, and so much more. the seating area downstairs is beautiful especially with all that natural light coming in from the high windows. It was a bit chilly but it had a nice outdoor seating area and also had an extra room inside in case there was too many people. Wish my trip was a bit longer but i do hope to come back again. oh and its pet friendly! Based on the smell, you wouldn't even know it was pet friendly unless u saw a sign or actual dog. Good job to the pet owners for keeping there pets cleaned and thumbs up to the staff here for making it hardly noticeable for people like me with sensitive nose. My phone camera doesn't do it justice! In fact if you check the pictures that's posted on this yelps business page you'll see how it really looks.

So my First review was removed already. So see all the photos and know that it's the tip of the iceberg. I more than livid now seeing all the details of events were removed. I spoke with General Manager on Wednesday and showed him the photos I took and he said he would take issue an rectify them. However as of today there are still several of the issues still present. He even mentioned he had issues in the past with the gal who was sitting in the chair stuffing her face and smoking directly out front. So he know exactly who I was referring to. The fact that several of the issues remain is pitiful and as such I have reduced my review to 1 star. There are several other Marriott in Maumee and Perrysburg to stay at and I will not be staying here next week because the price isn't delivering the standards I would expect for $160 a night.

Opened the stove to this. Asked 3 times throughout my stay for it to be cleaned. Left 4 days later with it still like this.

FLEAS!!! Multiple people here have been discussing spider bites on their bodies but they are fleas! I work in healthcare and stay here for work. I felt something biting me one night on my shoulder, turned on the light and found a flea on me! Sure enough, one of my colleagues has bites all over her legs and when she called, they checked it out and the hotel said there were fleas when they pulled back her sheet. They allow animals and told her they do not flea bomb the rooms each time an animal stays there. Besides the major bug issue causing health concerns, the hotel is nice and the employees are wonderful.

They allow pets, but charge a non-refundable $75 pet fee. My dog is 13lbs and could not do $75 worth of damage. disappointing.

That said, I had coffee at one place, ate a meat loaf lunch at another, pawed the car windows and did some test sitting at a few dealerships, drove around the University of Toledo campus (which I didn't know is a very good school for STEM disciplines), and put the cherry on top of these few hours by visiting the Toledo Botanical Garden. I walked the garden and took photos. It was warm and humid, so I didn't really relax and sit a spell. Like many public gardens, the Toledo Botanical Garden, out toward the western end of the city, mixes up formal garden spaces with European cues and more organic spaces, meaning they are natural in affect and display very little rigid planning. I was fairly amazed how, as you moved along, these different vistas came into view. Everything was cohesively put together and you could enjoy the different environments they've curated for you. The Toledo Botanical Garden is part of the city metro park system, which I learned from other reviews. Thus, being under this umbrella might mean that the park is free of charge ... and it is! For this aspect and for delivering more than I had expected, having pulled it from a "top things to do" list, I believe the Toledo Botanical Garden handily earns 5 stars.
