I now owe $14k and have over $3200 in penalties to pay to state and irs. I can attach docs if this is disputed Kristen had counted one of my rental properties income twice! There was also a discrepancy with my income through the business. All in all I've had so many problem with the return and pay people to figure out what she did, that it would of been cheaper to pay a reputable accountant $5000! To do my return, then it's costing me now to straighten all this out!!! Don't try to save money, with Kcs taxes. Go anywhere but here. Get EVERYTHING in writing, especially her prices. In the meeting when I asked how much she would charge to file my taxes, she stumbled over her words a few times and said $275... which in turn seems strange considering she charged me $250 to chat and no actual work was applied in that time. Her receptionist never mentioned any fees when I called to ask if she was accepting new clients and set up an consultation and nothing regarding a payment was ever asked of me during my visit and then a week later a $250 invoice was emailed. When I contacted them about it, Linda maybe up some fabricated story about it all. During the consult, the way she described getting money back on my return and then assuring me that "only one person in each profession really only gets audited" didn't make me feel too confident in how she would handle my taxes. I should of left her office when I read the negative reviews on her Yelp account before calling me back into my appointment. Believe these reviews people, my experience was very similar to them.

When my husband called her only to ask if there was anything she could do to help, she went crazy on him over the phone. She told him she never makes a mistake. I find that hard to believe unless she is a robot. Then her secretary emailed my husband to let him know that it was the banks fault and that I should talk to a manager at the bank. First off it was not the banks fault that the IRS did not have correct account information and second I did talk to a manager because he was the only one with enough experience to figure out what had happened. He was recommended to us by a family member and we are so glad we found him! When we came to Jared he had to go through and modify my husband's taxes from prior years. My husband was audited by the IRS and Jared was right by his side the entire time (including and entire day of questioning in a downtown Boise office). He saved us thousands of dollars and my husband probably would have died of anxiety without them. Jared is VERY thorough and VERY knowledgeable! I believe there has only been one question I've asked that he didn't have the answer to. Before I left the parking lot he came out and handed me a stack of information regarding the answer to my question. Jared is also very prompt; he replies to phone calls and emails on a very timely manner. I love the fact that they are a smaller full service firm. You don't have to talk to several secretaries and wait for call backs. When you arrive at their office you simply check in on an iPad and it notifies them that you've arrived.
