I now owe $14k and have over $3200 in penalties to pay to state and irs. I can attach docs if this is disputed Kristen had counted one of my rental properties income twice! All in all I've had so many problem with the return and pay people to figure out what she did, that it would of been cheaper to pay a reputable accountant $5000! In the meeting when I asked how much she would charge to file my taxes, she stumbled over her words a few times and said $275... which in turn seems strange considering she charged me $250 to chat and no actual work was applied in that time. Her receptionist never mentioned any fees when I called to ask if she was accepting new clients and set up an consultation and nothing regarding a payment was ever asked of me during my visit and then a week later a $250 invoice was emailed. When I contacted them about it, Linda maybe up some fabricated story about it all. During the consult, the way she described getting money back on my return and then assuring me that "only one person in each profession really only gets audited" didn't make me feel too confident in how she would handle my taxes. I should of left her office when I read the negative reviews on her Yelp account before calling me back into my appointment. Believe these reviews people, my experience was very similar to them.
