I worked here for barely 2 weeks and had to leave immediately... They really try to care for the dogs here and are truly gentle. However, there's constant screaming at the dogs at the simplest bark or slightly rough play style. I had a dog literally pee all over herself because she was scarred to move from the corner (sweetest girl). I told my supervisor and the poor girl was just dragged out of the room, put into a kennel with her own urine still covering her legs and tail... Not even a wipe down- They clean the rooms with a hose yet none of the outlets are covered and the small dogs are exposed to peeling, wet, and splintering wood. We're told not to spray the outlets, which is a no brainer. They're organized and I can tell they try. However, I have seen several safety and hygiene concerns.. The outsides were covered in old poop stuck in the snow with dogs that eat and roll in poop.. Or happen to simply fall in it. I run my own pet-sitting and things about this place just really disturbed me.. Constant communication between staff is rare. They are good people but the place needs plenty more effort put in in regards to properly caring for these dogs.... read more

Our pup just got back from an 8 day stay at resorts. We booked him the king suite and it was so worth it! Our dog has seizures and is on medication daily. He's pretty high maintenance but staff was really receptive all the info we shared at drop off regarding his needs. Staff were amazing, and communicated very well. The manager/assistant were so sweet and reached out to us when he unfortunately had a seizure and followed up again to assure us that he was back to himself. He really enjoyed his walks through the village and staff was great about sending pictures. Pickup and drop off was smooth. We will definitely be boarding with Resorts and Play again in the future! read more

I am very disappointed in the change in customer service at Resorts Boarding and Play in the past few years. I have been bringing my 2 dogs here regularly for 5 years for day camp , grooming and boarding. I used to love it for my pets. The groomer Tammy is outstanding , and I highly recommend her !! However I have had issues with the front staff with myself and other family members. They also have changed their rules over the past few years and are very inflexible. My dogs also go to a day camp facility in the south that is outstanding ( so I have seen how customer focused other animal care facilities can be ). read more

I took my one year old husky Gabby in today for a shampoo, deshedding, and nail clipping. It was a great experience from beginning to end! Gabby had a great time too!! She came out looking like a brand new dog! She's been getting compliments all day on her shiny new coat. She also liked her dog Sunday frozen treat I got for her! read more

If you have a pet you need to board and you're in the Buffalo area, NEVER use Resorts Boarding & Play. Our cat Gordon is twenty years old. She has been losing weight. When we dropped her off there, we had just gotten the news from our vet that she was permanently blind in one eye. In spite of this, she generally doesn't have a lot of trouble getting around and finding her litter box at home. We left her in their care for three whole days while we went out of town for the weekend. The moment we got home from picking her up, I felt it. Her fur was encrusted in days-old urine and feces. She was too scared to leave her carrier, and, while they opened the carrier cage, no attendant had even bothered to take her out or show her the litter box. I verified this going through hours of footage of their webcam. Even after bathing and brushing her for an hour, the smell is still lingering. When I explained what had happened to the manager this morning, her attitude was extremely flippant. She insisted that she had several years of looking after cats, so she couldn't possibly have made a mistake and therefore had no reason to refund me. Sorry, you can't convince me nothing happened. I know what I saw, I know what I felt, and I know what I smelled. Gordon deserves to be treated with dignity like any other creature, and you took that away from her. I intend to expose the negligence of you and your staff to everyone I possibly can. NEVER USE RESORTS BOARDING AND PLAY. read more

We brought our dog here, rather than our usual boarding kennel, due to its convenient location in the village and wanted to keep our business local, despite the increased cost per night. He was here 2 nights. When we picked him up both he and his comfort blanket smelled of urine, as though he not been walked enough. We have been boarding this pet for 8 years whenever we are out of town and this has never occurred before. We also did not receive a progress report on his stay. We were very disappointed in this new village facility and will be returning to our former kennel. read more

My dog was going to resorts boarding and play for almost 2 years consistently with no issues. All of a sudden whenever I would try and reserve a spot for daycare they were always "full". Finally when I called to reserve a spot for 3 months out it was brought to my attention that every dog needed to be "re-evaluated". I brought my dog in for re-evaluation at 9:30 am... by 9:40am I got a call that my dog is no longer allowed at day care because she was aggressive?? 10 min evaluation? most dogs need more than 10 min to settle down from excitement. Keep in mind my dog plays with the shelter dogs and other dogs at the park with no issues all the time. She has NEVER been aggressive. She doesn't even bark at dogs walking past her on the street or ever react to them. If they labeled her as a High energy player, then I would believe that. I was told resorts boarding and play will put dogs with their energy levels together, as that was the point of being evaluated. In conclusion I believe their issue is they do not allow Pittbulls at this daycare. They label them as aggressive based on the stereotype. You never see any of them in their social media pictures either. read more

We have been taking our Boston Terrier to board here since it opened. He has a luxated patella in his back leg and does not like other dogs but yet needs his humans. Needless to say he needs a bit of extra care to stay happy while we travel. The resorts staff is amazing with him and give him all the cuddles he can handle. Each time, he comes home clean, happy, and ready to play. I love how many times he gets a potty break in the original price and then you can extras for more TLC. Our fur baby gets extra one on one time since he doesn't go to doggy day care. They are great at giving him his supplements and using the prepared food we leave for him. We get a with a doggy cam and watch him all we want. The rooms are kept extremely clean and the staff are amazing with all the dogs. This place is a gem sin the Southtowns and highly recommend them! read more

This place is amazing! My dog loves it here, she can barely wait to get inside once she realizes where she's going and the girls who work with the dogs are always so friendly and engaging. They also always tell me a cute or funny story of what my pup did that day, so you know they're interacting and actually care when they take the time to notice every dog! Highly recommend! read more

Super upset with boarding my dogs at this robbery of a dog daycare. They are very misleading when they say they take your dog for 5 walks a day. When we looked at cameras they were not only not walking them, but if they did it was for less than 5 minutes at a time. We requested our dogs be fed separately because one of our dogs would eat the others food. They fed them together for the 10 days after we constantly called, emailed to not. We paid for our dogs to go to daycare but we're thrown back in the room after only a few hours. Also paid to have my dogs groomed before we got home. They did a horrible job and told us when we picked up that they needed to charge us more. The manager Cindy was very disrespectful on the phone when we called. Never said sorry, or sorry you felt this way. Said we should be lucky they were fed. If I could give them 0 Stars I would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS OVER PRICED UNDER SERVICED BOARDING RESORT! read more
