As soon as I stepped out of the car, I slipped on a sheet of ice and fell hard on my back. A Priority Waste driver was up the hill, about five houses away. Somehow, he noticed my fall and began carefully backing his truck toward me, inch by inch, despite the icy conditions that made maneuvering difficult. He helped me to my feet, and with his assistance and my wife's support, I was able to get safely back into the house. It was an incredibly busy and dangerous day for him, yet he took the time to stop and help. He easily could have looked the other way and continued on his route, but instead he made a deliberate choice to show kindness. In a moment when I truly needed help, a stranger stepped up--and that simple act of compassion made all the difference.

Republic said they would match it only if I signed a new 3 year contract. So I did, then less than a year later they raise my rate 30% again! I said I want it lower they said they could lower it a little bit but only if I re-sign another 3 year contract. I'm not sure how this isn't criminal! My advise is stay away from this company! Don't ever sign anything with them. I will be talking to a lawyer to see how they can get away with a scam like this. Oh and their service isn't that great.
