This place change my oil and due to their negligence or laziness (or…read moreboth) didn't tighten the oil plug enough which loosened over time resulting in the oil plug falling out on the highway, all of my oil falling out of my car and my engine now needing to be fully replaced. They refuse to even speak with the shop or look at inspection reports to take responsibility. So now Im stuck with a blown motor on my 2021 vehicle that doesn't even have 32000 miles on it. Staff is extremely immature and full of attitude. They also failed to get any of my information correct (first, last, and phone number). Would NEVER recommend.

Truly, I think it's because the job done was sub-par and on purpose to get my vulnerable and naive self back into their shop. I have spent $3000+ here and will never get it back unless I get a lawyer which I'm highly considering. When I got my fuel injectors done, I immediately had a problem with the engine starting. I took it in for diagnostics and they charged me 160 dollars for them to just look at it. Nothing seemed wrong to their technicians and I was told that it was fine and would level itself out. It did not. I went back again and they said that I needed a small part that I could replace myself easily. I did and still the problem didn't go away. Dave asked me why I hadn't come back and the reason is because he has led me on and bled me dry every time I just had someone look at it. I really thought that Dave was a nice guy and I trusted him but once I had spent $300+ on diagnostics alone, my faith was shaken. Today, my engine didn't start. I called Dave and he basically said that he didn't want to work with me anymore and GOOD LUCK. I was angry on the phone and I guess they say being nice goes a long way, so this was definitely my bad. I am very disappointed in Dave and the scam he runs as a business and I hope he doesn't do this to his daughter. The calls are recorded and I am talking to a lawyer because the other shop I went to charged me nothing. For such a "good" reputation, B+L auto seems to be a sham and I do not suggest you going in to this shop ever unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket and you want to feed the dollar signs in Dave's eyes. I surfed the web and found Bozeman Community Auto. It had great reviews. I had no choice but to try them. My daughter goes to Montana State in Bozeman and has my Jeep Wrangler. My daughter has had a couple of issues with her car. They fixed my daughter's car at a great price. Their technicians were very knowledgeable, explained exactly what the problem was and what it would take to fix it. Having worked on my Jeep Wrangler before, replacing the cam and rocker arms, I was very familiar with the types of issues that are common on the Jeep. Their assessment was right on! I highly recommend Bozeman Community Auto. Because of their popularity, they are busy. It will take a week or more to get your vehicle in. It's well worth the wait.

The uhaul had to be towed by somebody else....geico rules... so i had to pay for towing to Boseman) anyway I slept in the back of my new teuck (2016 silverado) until Eric and Lisa opened up... They were awsome...I would give them 10 stars...Eric was right on top of my issue....heater hoses connection had corroded and needed new hoses... he solved the issue and had me rolling again...I don't think it was more than an hour and I was rolling again. On the report they claimed my whole brake system was severely rusted, dust shields were leaving very large holes, brake fluid was green and that my master cylinder was failing. Quoted me almost 3000 dollars to replace everything. Told me to not leave for the roadtrip until work was done as it was a severe safety hazard. Obviously, I was worried and stressed, that's a lot of money and I needed to get home. When I came in to pick up my car 3 men were at the front desk. All told me that it was incredibly unsafe and my brakes could go out if I tried to get it home AFTER I had said that I don't have the money to fix it quite yet and I would call back when I'm ready to get the work done. It felt a little like manipulation and trying to scare me into getting the work done. I should also mention I am a woman, and a young college student. I went to get a second opinion, took it to another local mechanic, he told me the calipers looked fine, brake fluid was a little dirty but nowhere near green in color, and my master cylinder was not failing. I can't help but feel a little taken advantage of as a young woman bringing in my car alone to get looked at. My dad has been going to Tom's alignment for over 30 yrs, when TJ's dad ran the business and we have received the same quality and customer service from day one. I strive to find experts when I don't have the expertise to do it myself. I had several people I trust lead me to an alignment expert in Bend, OR where I was told that my alignment was good, but my lower control arms needed replacement. A $1200 job. I left that shop with data sheets, a screwed up alignment job, a bill and a quote for more work. I immediately called TJ. I was expecting TJ to have to replace the lower control arms. His crew got into the job while replacing my suspension and found nothing wrong with the lower control arms. WORKING WITH TOMS ALIGNMENT SAVED ME $1200! These guys are honest and will not do work that is not needed. TJ and his crew are the best in the business.

We left messages at several places and then left our truck at Tom's waiting for the shop to open. By the way, we never received a return phone call from any of the other shops in Bozeman! Coming off the holiday weekend Tom's was pretty booked with usual customer repairs. TJ said he would do his best to look at it by the end of the day. Sure enough we got a call saying that we needed new calipers, rotors and brake pads at the end of the day. He said it would be ready by the end of day the next day. Fortunately, it was finished by noon the next day and we were on our way to continue our trip. This is a quality business that we would highly recommend. After a year of taking it back n forth to Toyota, they decided it had a cracked transmission! I have been without my car now for over a month while they replace the transmission. The car was delivered without a drop of wiper fluid in it, which proves to me it was never truly inspected. They just claim it was inspected, and collect the money. They don't care about safety. Additionally, the loaner vehicle I was given contains documents from the last two customers who have used their loaner car. I have their signatures, birthdates, dl numbers, social security numbers, phone numbers, and much more. Toyota is so lazy and unprofessional. They don't care about your safety or private information. They won't even offer as much as an apology for all my wasted time n money.
