The medical centre is spacious and clean, their processes seem reliable and the staff are professional - (far better than the one along the road who kept telling me all the things I couldn't do if I wanted to join!). Their care seems to be quite good at this stage so I've moved my records here. Happy that I've done that.

It doesn't feel cold and sterile either though; it's actually quite cozy and inviting. I find the reception staff here to be very friendly and personal, and the doctors were also friendly and understanding too. My sister took her daughter here, and she agrees that the doctors are very helpful and hold excellent bedside manners (especially with the children). This place isn't bulk billing, however a Medicare rebate is available and health care cardholders receive a discount.

The rooms were very large, with all the equipment in the room; it means they don't need to leave the room for the baby's injections/baths etc. The room also contained a flat screen television and one of those big cushy reclining chairs. The nurses/midwives at Cabrini were extremely friendly and helpful. After the birth, my sister was required to stay for 5days. Her husband was able to stay with her the whole time, as they had a double bed. She quotes it was like being on holiday, with constant room service. She was able to order a prawn cocktail and fresh oysters (the plate came with 6!) and other yummy items. The Cabrini cafeteria is really something to talk about, I have never seen so much good (real) food in a hospital before! They also had a sweet section that sold good quality cakes and treats. If you do get sick of the food, don't worry-Cabrini is right next to Glenferrie Rd, where a plethora of restaurants/cafes reside. The hospital also has an enjoyable outdoor/park type area to relax in. The gift shop is also worth mentioning, although it was very small, the stock they had was of good quality and variety. Definitely an inviting hospital, will probably give birth here too when it comes to being my time.

The Doctor did not keep me waiting long at all and she made me feel very relaxed and at ease to have my injection. Overall I was very happy with the service they provided. Parking was not great, it took me 10 minutes to get a park and it was very far away.

Definitely concerns me when I go in to see a doctor for the first time and they don't ask me minor standard questions like my day-to-day routine. Not here though! He provided me with tips, a treatment plan including stretches and strengthening and immediate relief through some body work. I'm pretty sure he even went a little over my intended time... and I was 10 minutes late. I'm also just traveling through but didn't feel like I was just getting in and out. Also cool guy personally to talk with. And Tara was extremely nice as well. Will be back for Pilates and another checkup in 4 days.
