The potatoes and sauerkraut were moorish. I used some of the maggi on top and it was flavourful and filling. I was already full by the time I started in on the dumplings. They were incredible! The meat was seasoned nicely and the dumpling skin was the perfect level of thickness. The maggi complemented them well too. The place is lovely on the inside with plenty of seating, natural light, and just generally pleasant ambiance. Surprisingly, I wasn't offered or suggested to order any bread or baguette with my food, and they didn't give any with the meal. It would add some balance and texture, plus it's a cheap way to make people feel happy. I thought the zabaione was too sweet, but I enjoyed it the most anyway. I also don't understand why they were making such a big deal about having reservations. I wanted to grab lunch the day before, but only tables downstairs in the empty basement were offered.
