Food -- 0 stars!!!
Place and service -- 1-2 stars
It is impossible for me to understand how a self-respecting establishment can serve the food I have been given yesterday evening at Altes Klösterli!
I was with a larger group, so the food had been pre-chosen. For vegetarians, it was the "Tessiner Risotto mit Grillgemüse, Rucola und Hobelkäse garniert". A catastrophe! Even at home, I would not have served guests nor eaten such a thing myself. The rice was impossible to identify: instead of risotto it was more like a rice soup-sauce! On top, there sat 4 sorry pieces of vegetables. There was one small mushroom, which tasted old, one slice of zucchini, 1-2 slices of eggplant and 1-2 slices of bell pepper. Of these, I could only eat the vegetables.
