The indoors part of the café is situated inside a former ballroom that has been restored. I had scrambled eggs, mushrooms and toast, which was cooked perfectly and came with a little salad garnish. My husband was overjoyed with the wiener schnitzel - a huge portion accompanied by buttered potatoes and a side plate of salad and pickled vegetables. It's true, the service wasn't the quickest or most attentive, however that wasn't a problem for us as we were not in a rush and the server was pleasant. They have at least 10 different types named by the different Berlin's neighborhoods - cool, right? Big portion which is always very much appreciated. Also some vegetarian options. Only downturn: food took forever.
