Nice atmosphere and good food. Which this place was in the center of Almere star though. Nevertheless worth bringing a visit! For some reason this place reminds me of a Danish cafe. Luckily, I was near a bike shop and while the staff worked on my bike, I went into this cafe to grab lunch. The staff is super friendly and the food was delicious. Following the recommendation of one of the staff members, I ordered the tuna sandwich and it was a delight. When I ordered coffee, it came with a side of "Bailey-spiked l" cream. What a lovely surprise at 11am in the morning.

Babi pangang, Nasi Rames, Saté Adam, Foei Yong Hai, kroepoek, and Chap Tjoy was our choice of the day, and the table was packed with delicious food! I had to warn our buddies that there are no refills here like in the US, and the bottles will give you 5 sips and your staring at an empty glass... and they don't do tap water either. Just drink hot tea when you eat Asian is my advice!

The lunch menu was extremely standard - the usual run of Dutch sandwiches and salads. We had a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc although the waitress passed some serious judgement about our lunchtime drinking. The interior looked a bit shabby during the day but I can imagine at night with the lights low you wouldn't notice the chipped paint and dirty floors. Sad to say, at least during the day, this place is nothing special.
