The food wasn't bad, it was just average. Sat outside, along a boring street with no traffic, so ambiance was fine. Service was not the best, in my opinion. My Hessen German accent was frowned upon, and it was an effort to ask any question with the server. I don't expect people to speak English, but my German gets me by. I felt like I was in Paris, if you know what I mean.

Schriftzug und Innenraum versprühen den Charme der 1970er Jahre, und auch auf der Karte gibt es keine Neuerungen von dem, was in Deutschland als griechische Küche verstanden wird. ;) Die verschiedenen gemischten Grillplatten versprechen "Fleischeslust satt" für den Gast und sind preislich okay (zwischen €15 und 20). Bei gutem Wetter sitzt man vor dem Restaurant unter Sonnenschirmen besonders gemütlich. Verschiedene Biere stehen zur Auswahl, der Service ist professionell freundlich und auch für unsere Verhältnisse im Tempo nicht zu "mediterran". It was lunch time, and I wanted some food from the Eastern Mediterranean Area. There were no Balkan places close, so I picked a Greek place. Delphi is hidden in a back alley but easy to find with a map app. It was a hot summer day. There was inside and outside seating. As it was already 2 pm, there were not many guests left. Some were sitting inside, some outside. We entered the venue and had to go all the way to the back to see any staff. I asked if we could sit anywhere, and we were told that they close at 3 pm. I knew that, although usually this means that you cannot enter after 3. Strange, especially for a restaurant with folks from that region. The whole staff was unusually unfriendly for a Greek place. Instead of the usual family like greeting and service, we had cold and dour waiters. The food was tasty though my pork souvlaki as well as my husband's pork steak was very tough. Also, the place does not take credit cards, only German debit cards, which was not uncommon 10 years ago but is rare these days.
