I am removing one star for this place as the bathroom facilities for men were in a deplorable state and smelled quite vile! I could envision and recall some of the bathrooms in India when I was backpacking there. So please, if you read this review, spend some money renovating and cleaning up your bathroom facilities.
Secondly, purple is not really my colour of choice for fine dining. It makes me feel claustrophobic.
We chose this restaurant as it was recommended by the lonely planet for Argentina and Puerto Iguazu. So after our visit to the bathroom, it made me suspect the writer for the section must have been bribed to choose this place as I could not envision anything nice coming from a place that kept such a poor, unclean bathroom! Then we ordered the vegetarian lasagne, a steak, freshly squeezed orange juice and a beer.
The lasagne arrived stuffed with meat, but we shrugged, mistakes happen. At least we were not religious vegetarians we said, and dug in! And boy, it turned out to be one of the best I've ever had in my entire life! Yes! Simply that good. So we thanked the waitress profoundly for making that mistake for us.
The steak was so so, but the potatoes covered in cheese were delicious. We couldn't finish the entire meal, as we required our usual after meal coffee stop. But yes, I would recommend this restaurant and I am sure other things they serve would be either a hit or miss. There seems to be no in between! Lol~! But the wait staff is sweet and friendly and very accommodating! And the prices are one of the most reasonable I have seen so far in Puerto Iguazu! read more
