And then wait for the cheque. And then wait another fifteen minutes -- after money has been placed on the tray -- for the waiter to finally deign to collect what has been paid. The time waiting gave us time to watch the owner be rude to people who turned up without reservations: a grimace; a shrug of the shoulders; hands outstretched; and a snarky, "You should have made reservations" to those poor souls who dared cross his threshold. Advice: Go elsewhere. There are other, better choices within a five minute walk. And if you're going to spend a fistful of francs on dinner, you might as well enjoy the experience.
