At that moment, I asked her for another menu, and she said she didn't have any, that the menu could be viewed through the "barcode." At that moment, everyone with me asked Yen to bring me a menu in English, and she said she didn't have one. When we went to order, my husband, as well as our friends told Yen that I was allergic to mayonnaise and her response was that everything had mayonnaise. Note: at all times, everyone spoke to her in French, and I spoke in English. Yen D., sarcastically for the first time addressing me, asked in perfect English, "And you don't eat egg? because mayonnaise is made with egg and oil?" My husband told her in French that I am allergic to mayonnaise. At that moment, I asked her, "If you know English, why don't you address me in English?" and her sarcastic reply was, "Ah, but you told me 'merci' when I served your wine, and you pronounced it very well." Throughout the meal, Yen D. came to serve the wine; when she didn't come at the end because the other couple had finished their bottle, I took our bottle and began serving myself when suddenly she arrived, snatched the bottle, poured wine for my husband who still had some, and then served me what was left.
