The equivalent of 60USD (50CHF) for a grease-soaked plastic container of fried rice (incredibly bland and tasteless) with a count of (5) small strips of chicken and a heart-attack-inducing greasy noodle dish, served with more salt than is in the Atlantic ocean. We tried to be hospitable and nice to the owner, but they responded with indifference, short temper, and annoyance. Insanely rude service, especially from the chef. Yeah, I understand, the prices in Switzerland are crazy expensive, but I wouldn't feed this food to my dog. Not worth $30 a dish. My tip? Don't go. Unless you want to be insulted and go to the least hospitable place in Murren.

I went with a white asparagus soup for an appetizer which was really good. The main entrée was a big honking plate of noodles with spicy beef. Also very good. Here is the thing: I simply didn't feel very welcome. The initial seating was fine but I seriously never saw anyone again. Others were getting a lot more attention. I needed a refill to kill the spice...never happened. Sat there for 15 minutes waiting for the check...never came till I asked. She brought a huge change purse out and it was embarrassing. I feel like I was missing something here culturally but I am uncertain what it was. Politeness usually goes a long way no matter where you are, I just don't feel it was reciprocated here. One shrimp, one veggie, one chicken, and one pork. It was ok 3/5. I like washing my hands before eating. You have to go outside and go inside like an apartment building to access their bathroom. When I looked into the restaurant later, I found out that it was promoted on some Swiss television show ("Mini Beiz, dini Beiz") before explaining the owner and his history a bit. I have to say that the experience was enjoyable and the food of the day menu was excellent, and the staff very friendly. Pricey, though, which is fine with me if everything else meets the bill.
