Authentic made to order Chinese food. You even get to experience the husband and wife yelling back and forth at each other. Small dining room but plenty of room for what we needed. There's certain evenings of the week that this is about the only food option in Murren. They have a few good beers in bottles as well. Definitely recommend!

It hasn't been a day in Switzerland yet and Mink already wanted Asian food again. Personally I wanted local Switzerland cuisine but what she wants is what she gets. Walking around Murren we found Tham Keong. Mink was sold on eating at Tham Keong so we took a look at their menu. After weighing out what to get, she decided to order Wok Fried Noodle with Prawns and I ordered Wok Fried Rice with Chicken. While waiting for our order to be made, I asked for hot sauce in Chinese. The owners, I believe they were the owners, asked if they should just make the fried rice spicy. It was an easy decision so they made it spicy for me. We got it to go and ate it in our hotel room. Mink tried both dishes and liked hers more. I personally liked the fried rice more. They were both better than we expected for Chinese food in Murren. Mink liked it so much that she went back again to get Singaporean Noodles for another meal. On top of Asian food at this restaurant, they also over beverages and snacks. Solid find and great for those craving Asian cuisine in the area.

Friendly staff and delicious food for a reasonable price! Switzerland is not cheap! Very generous portions and the homemade chili sauce is delicious!!

Good food if you are craving for Chinese vegetarian food. Fried rice and noodles were the best ! Must try if you are in Mürren! Only problem is they accept cash, no cards !

It is super hard to find Asian food in the Swiss Alps, so I was not expecting much when we ate here. However, this turned out to be an amazing / authentic Chinese meal, and probably the best food we had in Switzerland! The pepper beef was flavorful and the fried rice was a good complement to the saltiness of the beef. This seems to be a family run restaurant and they were all very sweet. They sell ice cream too which was nice to have after the meal. One thing to note, it is cash only, although they accept euros and USD (not at a great exchange rate however).

Amazing chinese restaurant in a picturesque Swiss Town! The chef has anazing skills, and aeverytging we ate was top 5 for me for the dish in question. Best fried wonton and black pepper beef that i have ever had. Even my son finished all of his veggies, need i say more? Lol

Top three Chinese food I've ever had in my entire LIFE. Tham is an absolute sweetheart and an amazing chef. We ordered deep fried won tons, fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken and crispy duck with bbq sauce at his recommendation. He has a small beer and wine list that just made for the most perfect meal. Do NOT miss this gem during your visit to Mürren!!!

The most adorable old couple runs this place. Great food in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommend. Best Chinese food in all of Switzerland

This is a nice Chinese restaurant in Murren that we discovered on our way to train station. This was a welcome break as we were tired of cold cuts sandwiches and cheese during our stay here. The vegetable noodles and szechuan chicken we ordered was pretty good. I am only giving 4 stars for the small portion size for the price they charged. The food and service was excellent. The chef was extremely friendly and greeted us before we left. I would recommend this place if you are craving for Chinese food in murren Switzerland.

This place is great! If you are needing a bit of a change from German food, this will do the trick! The owners are super nice and very eager to please. Spoke great English with great service! We ordered the rice noodles and chicken along with the sweet and sour chicken. Bother we're great and just hit the spot! It is a small place but luckily we stopped by when it wasn't too busy. This is a great place to check out!

Yelp Review 2026 #156:…read more I wanted some Chinese food and Fai Wong came up highly-rated. It's only a 3-5-minute walk from the hotel I was staying at so, I had all green flags to come here. The exterior and interior were intricately designed. It looked promising. Dinner time in Switzerland is 6-8pm. We got here at 6:10pm and the place was empty. Uh oh, that's not a good sign. They don't have old school menus. You have to scan the QR code to view their menu and I absolutely hate that. The service was good. Food came out 15 minutes after placing our order. Spicy Spare Ribs: When you see "spicy" on the menu in Switzerland, don't believe it. Portion is small but it's tasty. 4/5 Beef Noodle Soup: This tastes just like the instant noodles I used to eat when I was 6-10 years old when I didn't know how to cook so I ate instant noodles for survival while my mom got dinner ready. Instead of bok choy, they use cabbage. Instead of big chunks of beef, they use thin slices of beef you typically see in beef with broccoli and combination fried rice or noodles. 2/5 Dim Sum: There are 4 pieces. One shrimp, one veggie, one chicken, and one pork. It was ok 3/5. I like washing my hands before eating. You have to go outside and go inside like an apartment building to access their bathroom. It's not dirty but not the cleanest either. I really should have paid attention to where the reviews came from because this was not over 4 stars quality.

#1 Yelp rated Chinese restaurant in Lucerne -of course there is only 3 Chinese restaurants listed…read morein Yelp in this Swiss city. Place specializes in spicy hot noodle soups. However, it was in the 80s, and I wasn't about to eat soup on a hot day. Our CHF22 chicken dish came with spicy chili chicken, with ear mushrooms and rice. As in most Swiss restaurant, dish comes with rice, but only half a small bowl for the two of us. The chicken was fresh and fell off the bone, using a chopstick in each hand to peel off. Excellent dish, but could use more white rice. Seven steamed shrimp dumplings came with our CHF18 shrimp dumpling dish. Standard presentation in a steamed bamboo pot, with the shrimp tasty and not rubbery. Had to pay CHF4, or $4.28, for two glasses of tap water. Will remember next time to bring my own water to guzzle down prior to stepping into a restaurant in Switzerland. Authentic Chinese food served here. How do I know it's authentic? Any time they serve meat dishes with the bones still in them, in a sauce, it's authentic, as Americans don't want to mess around with bones in sauces. Also, only Chinese eating here.
