2012 eröffnet der ehemalige, altehrwürdige Steinbacher Hof unter neuem Eigentümer und neuem Namen wieder. Klaus-Dieter Graf von Moltke, der am Tegernsee bereits seit über 20 Jahren das renommierte Relais & Châteaux Park-Hotel Egerner Höfe betreibt, schafft mit dem Gut Steinbach ein neues Refugium der Gastlichkeit. Nach aufwändiger Renovierung im Jahr 2013 etabliert sich das Hotel mit einem Restaurant schnell zur neuen Größe in Reit im WInkl und Umgebung.

Their food is perfectly seasoned and authentic German food and for a great price. There were 7 of…read moreus and the total was under 100 euro. I got the chicken schnitzel and it was AMAZING. So moist and perfect. The waiter was also so nice and patient with us. None of us speak German so he sat with us and explained each thing on the menu and gave suggestions when we still didn't know what to get. I would go all the way back to Reit Im Winkl just to eat here again.
