Their pizzas have a nice thin crust, providing a near ideal ratio of crust-to-toppings in my opinion. But the ladies here were so phenomenal and helped us call the other restaurant to let them know we made a mistake and we're driving over. 5+ stars for service and helpfulness. So we decided to come back the next night to try out the bistro. The gals recognized us right away and big smiles all around. It is just a 7 minute drive from the center of Füssen. There is a broad range of regional and local dishes. We were in a large group and every dish looked delicious. The food was hot and fresh and the portions plentiful. I had the Tiroler Holzfällerpfanne (Tyrolean Lumberjack Skillet) and it was of high quality. If I had one small complaint: the potatoes were just a little bit overcooked (soft), but it did not spoil my meal. There was also a selection of local spirits and drinks and of course, Bavarian beer, including a very local one. I have been living in the area for ten years and this place ranks high in customer service (hard to find around here!) and quality.. And it seems like the locals enjoy it, too, which is important! In short: If you want to have one last Bavarian dinner before leaving the Alps and Füssen, I would recommend this spot for both the view and the food.
