Went there for lunch with colleagues from work. The idea came from one of us as we passed and noticed their vintage looking sign outside. So, based on the success of such TV shows like Diners Drive-Ins and Dives or You Gotta Eat Here, we thought this could be a hidden gem.
Turns out the expectations we had placed for this establishment were blown away, by the lack of love in making the dishes and the nonchalant attitude the waitress had. To quote her when asked what was in the Deluxe Burger : "Well you make it yourself". Terrible.
The dishes ended up being fine, although the fries were kind of sweet and mushy. I personally had the hamburger steak, which was fine. The other dishes ordered were also fine, except the fish and chips, turned out to be batter and chips.
If you want to eat quick, and not think too much about where you are going for lunch, this place is for you. It's well located next to the highway, and that's the restaurant's main asset. read more
