I'm glad I ignored many of the other reviews and checked this establishment out. A friend and I came after a fun shopping spree at IKEA (as if there's any other way to see a trip there) for a late lunch. They're known for fresh grinding their hamburger meat daily, so that's a plus. The fries are cut in-house and the onion rings are hand battered. This is as fresh as it gets, folks. My friend wanted onion rings with her burger but also fries, so we ordered a basket of fries to share with our burgers. I got the Divine Inspiration Jr with a lettuce wrap versus bun. She got the Thou Shalt Cheeseburger Jr with one. Service was excellent as was the food. My burger was medium rare, per my request, perfectly seasoned and juicy. Had I more room, I would've ordered a milkshake. Prices are reasonable. The menu has so many interesting burger and non-burger options that anyone should be able to find something they'd like to eat. Almost every time I travel to Montreal I visit this restaurant for a juicy burger. This is my favourite burger restaurant in Quebec and for that matter Ontario as well. Good service and good place for a milkshake! This place is always packed during lunch time so come early. The service was on point friendly waiter,came with water,menus and the food in a timely matter. Each portion is HUGE! Didn't expect it to be that big. I created my own burger, a side a fries and a milkshake (mint and Oreo). Burger was good,despite there being more cheese than I normally like. The milkshake was delicious. The server staff "Newsha" was very polite & accommodating. Served us in the time we asked for & got the order right. We were eating & minding our our own business & then out of the blue we were hit by a blob of the house sauce! I guess what happened is one of the dispensers fell over & a big glob plopped out, flew through the air & landed right on the front of my dress shirt!! I was in Montreal for a densely packed day & didn't have a replacement shirt! I mean why would I?? It's not like I was expecting to be hit by a blob of mayo like substance!! I mean WTH?? Went there yesterday with my wife and kids... the service was great, polite and very nice. The atmosphere is very nice, although we went there on a quiet time. It is very nice place for people with children, they provide crayons and a paper to colour, also the kids menu is good, and prices are fairly reasonable. The burger is very delicious and I can admit that it is one of the nicest burgers we had for a long time. If you are in the neighbourhood then you have to try it. Location: Ville St. Laurent - no issues with parking, as they've got a parking lot. The place: Great decor and vibe - it's got an urban and somewhat hipster feel to it. Hipsters. They're everywhere. Music gets a little loud closer to 7pm though, so expect to talk loudly to your dinner date(s). It's not huge restaurant by any means, so I'd say it probably gets packed around 7pm, on Thursday-Saturday nights. The goods: I decided to build my own burger because, well, I'm picky. I added lettuce, caramelized onions, bacon and avocado sauce. The meat was cooked perfectly (medium) and they were pretty darn generous with that bacon (which was delicious, by the way). The caramelized onions were cold, which I found unusual - I've always been served these when they were hot.... the avocado sauce sound good on paper but was underwhelming. The bun was light and pretty great. I also ordered fries that came out crispy and in a serving size worthy of four people. Way too many patates for one person! That said, the fries had no seasoning and there were no salt shakers on the table - they definitely could have used some flavor. I also ordered one of the cocktails (Heavenly Pink something or other) and it was pretty good for a burger joint! Service: Great - we were attended to the entire time we were there - our water glasses were kept full and wait staff checked in on us, on the regular. I was craving a nice juicy burger so figured it was time to give this place a try. We were the 1st customers of the day and were greeted immediately with some crayons and a coloring placemat for my toddler. We also got glasses of water as soon as we sat down which is also a plus for me. They usually cook their burgers pink so I asked for mine well, as soon as I got to the middle of the burger, there was more pink than I care for so I returned it to the waitress who actually had the kitchen prepare me a brand new burger which was very much appreciated. My husband tried the D.A.D.'s burger which he did not enjoy. It was cooked well but he just found the combination of flavors didn't work as well as he thought it would, he also had a side of jerk fries that were served with some herbed mayo that he enjoyed. His cherry coke was ok, but nothing I'd order again. I ordered off the kids menu for my toddler and went with a hot dog and a side of tater tots. The hot dog was huge and really good, the tater tots were a little too salty for my taste and had an oonion flavor to them, they also seemed to have a dust of a spicy seasoning which was a bummer cause it was too spicy for my toddler to eat. That being said, he doesn't do well with spices at all so for the average person it would probably be ok. There was a mistake on the bill so for some reason the price on the bill was higher than what was listed on the kids menu. I pointed it out to the waitress who corrected it for me. This would have easily been a 4 star for me but the wrong cook on my burger, the mistake in pricing on the bill and the salty tater tots loses a star for my review. read more

The place we packed with numerous patrons and not many open tables, but seeing as we were a party of two there wasn't any wait time. Server was fantastic and had a great sense of humor, and spoke impeccable English for us southerners. Took his recommendation to try the pulled meat poutine which turned out to be incredible. The dish is caloric without the pulled meat so for those who are counting calories you may want to go with the classic preparation. The burgers each had a unique name along the theme of religion which was fun while we perused the menu. I opted for the Immaculate Conception burger and was not disappointed. I ordered my fries with jerk seasoning but it came to me without it. We've done take out several times from the Ville st Lo location. The food is great for take-out but quite better when you go in person. Burgers taste fresh and juicy and they have classic options for sides like onion wings as well as inventive options like bacon-wrapped dates. Not sure about people complaining about the service... every time we've eaten here whether take-out or not we were met with impeccable service even during busy periods. Place seems clean and really nice modern decor. Overall, I wouldn't say it's the best tasting burger in town but definitely one of the freshest and juiciest. I understand not wanting to pay double time to repair the air conditioning during construction holidays, however, don't lie to your clients claiming it's working. Pass until winter arrives and A/C no longer needed unless you enjoy sweat pouring down your back while munching. I went tonight with one other person. Got this really long strand of hair in my mouth from my burger. Told the waitress which she in turn told the manager . He never came out to see me, he did when I asked him to and he said he's remaking the burger while my companion finished his. He offered a round of drinks but I said if I wanted drinks I could have ordered them myself , after my companion waited 30 minutes for them to remake the burger and me eating it the full bill arrived !
