We ordered their 9.4-inch thin-crust pizzas--the Funghi and the one topped with sheep sausage and figs (or pears depending on the season). Both were absolutely delicious! The crust was thin and nicely crisp, while the toppings were flavorful and well balanced. The sheep sausage with the fruit was a particularly fun combination.
We paired the pizzas with a Swiss amber beer on tap, which was nice and crisp and perfect after a hot summer hike.
At around $20 for a 9.4-inch pizza, it is definitely on the expensive side, but this is Switzerland, and given the quality, I thought it was reasonable.
We stopped by for an early dinner after our hike and got seated immediately indoors, although there was already a wait for outdoor seating. The restaurant gets busy around dinner, so I'd recommend making a reservation or putting your name down and coming back later. Service was good.
The restaurant has a nice, inviting atmosphere, with plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor tables.
If you're craving a good pizza while in Grindelwald, I'd definitely recommend giving Onkel Tom's a try!
