Gave me the dirty look because I added 10% of the check in tip, which all the locals told me is fair. Probably was the Lebanese owner. Mexicans can't be that grumpy. -Price: 320 pesos for a buffet, basically about the same price you'd get in the U.S. or the Emirates. They got Lebanese inspired eggs served with Lebanese jocoque (strained yogurt), spices, olives and pita bread. It was a very special flavor. The egg cazuela with poblano peppers is very tasty and has a super generous amount of cheese, it's spicy! Huevos divorciados are also a Mexican breakfast classic, served with delicious mashed beans. Coffee is very good. Prices are right, you can get the breakfast dish on its own or you can make it a combo (coffee, juice and fresh fruit included)

Which makes what happened to me all the more shocking and disappointing. I visited recently and when I was deciding what to order, the server pushed me very hard toward the ribeye with rice, which also happened to be the most expensive item on the menu. I was uncertain and mentioned a few other options but they kept steering me back to that specific dish with unusual persistence. I ordered it. Within hours I was severely ill. What followed was one of the worst weeks of my life: constant cold sweats, a high fever, severe stomach pain, total weakness, and vomiting that would not stop. I could barely eat anything for days. I required a full course of antibiotics, several medications, and medical-grade hydration support just to stabilize. I genuinely feared for my life at certain points during those days. Looking back, the aggressive push toward one specific dish, the most expensive one on the menu, raises serious questions. When a restaurant steers you that insistently toward a single item and you end up hospitalized-level sick, you cannot help but wonder whether that food should have been served at all. My recovery took weeks.

After scrolling thru the review photos I thought for sure I would land on a burger. But I was pleasantly surprised to see they had hot dogs on the menu, which were cleverly disguised as Perras Maltesas. And being that I am not a vegetarian, I ordered the carnivore selection. Boy, was I glad I found the hot dog on that menu. It is presented in "pig in a blanket" style with two 1/4 pound beefy dogs in homemade roll with 2 kinds of gooey cheese and caramelized onions. And even though I am normally a chili dog kinda girl, I have to say every bite of this tasty combo tasted like a bite from home. And these guys aren't kidding around. The dog runs end to end and it's a hearty meal for one or perfect snack for two. The picture shows the dog after I cut it in half for sharing. The dog is grilled and the bun is toasty warm lending to yummy, gooey, cheesy melt. If you are jonseing for a good hot dog in Mexico City, this is your destination.

The raviolis are infinitely better than ones I have found in Italian restaurants in the area, and I am particularly fond of the spinach and cheese ones. The older lady who works here is a sweetheart too. The place looks like it would be awesome for brunch; I will come back to try more of their items for sure. Definitely inspires me to want to travel to Argentina just for the food!

It's unlimited and you'll be guaranteed to leave full at a spot like this. The lunch was around $20 US which is a pretty good deal. The place was able to customize our orders and provide my father salmon and my sister a special tea she likes. The meats could of been a little more consistent with the level of meat temperature (rare v medium etc). Overall, a great spot for traveling and definitely different than the Brazilian steakhouses in the US.
