Here in this vegetarian restaurant you can easily get into the flow as this place provides comfy couch-chairs as well as even a sofa at the rear end of the front room. The back room is full of tables and chairs to dine in or to have your lunch. As the middle part at the corner is characterized through a big wooden table with stools around it. This leads me to my next point I want to mention: The whole interior is very stylish and artsy as well as featuring much real wood when it comes to the tables, art objects, and the ceiling which is completely out of wood. This gives a special artsy and outdoorsy atmo what plays into the relaxing flair of the Mangolds vis-a-vis. This place is the dependence (store) of the main Mangolds restaurant in the center which exists for many decades now as the institution for vegetarian food in Graz. I personally give preference to the front room facing the street with the comfy couch-chairs as it is also more light. But there is also a nice patio outside for experiencing the vibrant Grazer student's life the most. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The folks who work here are as relaxed as the whole establishment is. I had a delicious spelt raspberry cake, as well as another time a chocolate tart, and a cheese cake a. For the main dishes I had as a snack one time a ciabatta with smoked tofu and another time a Thai burger with tofu inside. And I want to point out one more great thing about the Mangolds vis-a-vis: the opening hours are great since this place is open every day until midnight. So if you want to stay at a hip place in Graz, check out the Mangolds vis-a-vis! With Love! Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann

However, when we got there they said their kitchen was backed up and that we'd have to wait at least 30 minutes. Instead, we looked online, crossed the road, and found this place within a block. This is a no-frills Chinese eatery. They have 3 - 4 tables along each wall as you enter. There is a central aisle that takes you up to the counter for to-go orders. The staff is all Chinese. They provided a menu that had a mix of Chinese, German, and English. We were thus able to find a few dishes to share. Three of us split some noodles, fried dumplings, and one or 2 other dishes. We were hungry enough to finish everything. It was quality food. Prices seemed fair. They seemed to do a steady stream of take out as well as what appeared to be locals just stopping in briefly for a bowl of noodles or the like. If you like Chinese food and are just looking for something simple and quick, this is a good choice.

Rest was ok and nothing in particular worth coming back from. Whether it's the water spinach, eggplants, noodles. The best dish which is also just average are the cold sesame noodles. Skip the cold xi an noodle.

I made a reservation for 1 before coming here and when I arrived there were two empty tables outside. I asked if I could sit at one and they declined saying it was reserved. Okay, got it, so I took a seat inside. No problem. As time went by and I waited on my food, a couple walked up and asked if they could take one of the tables and sure enough, they were accommodated. I believe, because I was solo, they wanted to reserve the outdoor tables for couples. It was a lovely evening to sit outside. I ordered a traditional Austrian dish and I simply did not enjoy the combinations of flavors and textures. I would try something else to see if it was just that dish I did not enjoy. The time came to pay when I was informed that they were cash only. There should be better signage outside and possibly inside stating that it's cash only. I had to go to an atm to get cash out as this was my last evening in town and I didn't have any more cash on me. The meal price went up due to me incurring atm fees. I posted a picture of the "cash" sign they have outside; can be easily missed if you're not looking up. Sure enough when I left, there was still a table available outside. (-_-)

The restaurant is casual and hip hop music played over the speakers during our visit. I ordered the setian steak, and it was fantastic. The setian was perfectly cooked and accompanied by a decadent sauce. Overall, I would recommend Landia for creative vegetarian food in Vienna.
